My experience started off rough to say the least, but with good managers and a willingness to put the customer first, I must say that some of the team members get it right at this location. There is much to be said about those persons that are able to resolve customer conflict with empathy and compassion. Brandon and Ariana have my vote! I would also like to state that my salesperson Memo was a1 perfect in his handling of my buy. Good professional employee's get things right 99% of the time, however it only takes one or two negative employees to have a business crumple. The service department is lacking there of. The service departments Techs are in every since of the word professional. The repairs are performed by seasoned technician's. I am a Automotive Instructor of 21 years, I did indeed check the repairs made by senior tech Elmer and he performed services as promised. That skill will go unnoticed if the service advisors and service director are viewed unfavorably. It is my professional opinion that one or two changes in personal will reassure you of the quality of service at Ourisman of Alexander. That said go get you the car you want! #DC Rebel.
These guys made it happen for me in a pinch. I was actively searching for the perfect Jeep Grand Cherokee L Overland all week to surprise my wife on Christmas. The day before Christmas I went to this location to see if they had the options I was looking for. They did not but Samer Burjas asked all the right questions and found the exact match I was looking for at another location. I was even more excited because I made the purchase for the exact price I wanted! Sam was knowledgeable, friendly, and easy to deal with. The best part he went and picked up the Jeep himself , had it completely detailed, and even had the Christmas bow in the trunk ready for me to surprise my wife! You guys made it happen like no other dealer I’ve ever dealt with! Thanks again !
I usually try to avoid the dealership now that my car has so many miles- it doesn’t make sense to pay dealership prices for repairs. I ended up having an issue that required I take my beloved Jeep to the dealership specifically, and what a wonderful experience it was! Starting from the great experience I had when I called the parts department to see if they had the part in stock to when I pulled up unexpected to the service counter and the gentleman greeted me kindly and walked me to the repair location, doing a personal handoff to the folks in the repair shop. Once there, Darrell took such great care of me and my Jeep. He was so friendly, attentive, and considerate. It is clear that he is committed to providing the best customer service. Thank you Darrell for renewing my faith in dealership service!
I Bought 2 vehicles from this dealership, my 2019 Dodge Charger R/T and my 2022 Dodge Durango. Bouba Diallo always make sure I get what I’m looking for and check on me even after my purchases. Also thanks to Kenny another salesman who assisted me in my latest purchase and Omar and the rest of the finance team who always make sure I leave happy 5 stars all around!!!
Do not bring your Jeep here!! After a minor fender bender in early March we still do not have our Jeep. A friend warned me to take it elsewhere but, my husband wanted to take it to this dealership. It has been close to 4 months! I understood the parts were delayed when They said it wouldn't be ready until April 15. But, every single day we get another excuse. It is mid June and now they said A/C is broken and need to order a another part? This is crazy. The other Grand Jeep Cherokee had much more damage in the front and back and they have had their car back since early April! But, they took it elsewhere.
My experience at Ourisman was not ideal. I made an appointment 3 days in advance on their website for a cracked windshield. As soon as I arrived I was told that they don’t do glass and they recommended a shop that does. Customer service here was great, but why have the option to schedule an appointment specifically for glass on the website and then tell me in person that they don’t do glass. Nobody could’ve reached out sooner? Anyway, once I found out they don’t do glass I said that I would just like regular maintenance done since I was there. Oil change, inspection, regular maintenance, I also said my brakes were making a slight squeaking noise on the left side and would like for them to check that out. My appointment was at 8:15 in the morning, it took until about 9:40 using their digital service to let me know I was ready. They recommended about $500 worth of additional filters that could’ve been changed on top of my regular maintenance work which I declined. The service that day cost about $120 for oil change and maintenance checkup. I also did not get any explanation on the brakes that I requested that they look at and it basically just said they did not need work on the digital service chart that I mentioned earlier. Overall, it just felt pretty expensive and a bit like a waste of time just for an oil change. Customer service was great, everyone who I spoke to was really nice and accommodating, but again if you want glass done this is NOT the place to go to even though it’s an option to schedule an appointment for glass on the website.
Visiting from out of state we suddenly had some car trouble. Called the dealer and spoke to Aaron in the service department. He said to have it towed in and he would take a look at it and try to get it back as quick as he could. When we got there with the car he saw that I was in a wheelchair and went out of his way to get the car fixed quickly and us back on the road. His service was wonderful! He was courteous and extremely helpful. I would highly recommend him and the service department any time!
BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE -2018 Jeep failed inspection!!! I recently purchased a Grand Cherokee from Ourisman Chrysler Jeep Dodge of Alexandria. This is the ABSOLUTE worst experience I have ever had buying a car. I live in Maryland so I had to take the car to get inspected in Maryland. The Jeep failed inspection because 3 of the 4 tires were worn to the tread line, dry rotted and had tears in the tires up to a few inches long. This dealership passed the Jeep for inspection at their shop, concerning!!! Jasonmanager stated they inspected the Jeep and “nothing” was wrong with the Jeep when it was inspected. It was clear to me after getting the Jeep inspected in Maryland from an unbiased shop that this dealership just stuck an inspection sticker on the Jeep window without ever inspecting the Jeep. The Jeep was clearly unsafe and shouldn’t have passed inspection at any reliable, competent shop. The oil life also should 100% life however it was very dirty and was the engine filter. Both needed to be addressed. It was evident that a VA inspection sticker was just slapped on the windshield and no issues were addressed with the Jeep. I highly recommend any vehicle that is purchased from this dealership get inspected by an independent shop, I learned the hard way by trusting a dealership who I thought was credible, well they aren’t. You have been warned. Jason the manager at the dealership stated who was the most ignorant person I have ever dealt with in a managerial position stated “we don’t guarantee that the vehicle will pass inspection outside the state of Virginia”. Why is this? Because you don’t really inspect your cars? The question is now… how did it pass VA inspection with 3 tires that didn’t have any tread on them and were dry rotted? He said the tires were fine when the Jeep left the dealership, so in one week from purchase the tires miraculous deteriorated once it left the dealership. Jason could care less. He is the stereotypical car salesman, a lying fool. He made excuse after excuse which was lie after lie. This man lacks integrity. Jason then lastly stated if I wanted new tires then I shouldn’t “have been cheap by buying a used car”!! A 60k used car is cheap according to him. All he did was lash insults instead of addressing the issues with the Jeep. So unprofessional and just plain ignorance. Just know Jason apparently thinks anyone who buys used cars is cheap. Go somewhere else where management doesn’t insult customers for buying used cars or wanting to buy a car that is safe!!! Don’t fall for anymore Lies they may say in response to this. I have pictures and a failed inspection sheet to prove the facts I write about. Where is their evidence, don’t listen to the BS fluff they spew out to save face. I can support my claims, can they?
The seller Corina, is excellent, very good treatment and great patience with her and the sales part, but in the service part it is totally different buy a 2021 jeep and it has defects, the box hits when you make the changes the service response was that it is NORMAL, the radio hasn't worked since the second week after buying it and as a consequence I can't check the rear view camera, I can't manipulate what I hear or see the temperature of the vehicle etc... they've made me go about 10 times alone to waste time, it is incredible that it is a new vehicle and bought from the same dealer and one has to go through all these inconveniences!
Very strange experience here. Made the appointment online for an oil change and tire rotation with a quote of $98. Showed up for my appointment and the Service Advisor tried to get me to approve a $278 charge. When I protested the upcharge he said it was because I requested additional services I did not and the oil change I selected was not applicable for my car not true, I selected services only after putting in my VIN and requested full synthetic online. If this is true, why would he not explain that before trying to get me to approve a charge 3x the amount I was expecting?? He then said he could remove the extras never asked for them and the price dropped to $165. I was already there so I just agreed. He initially said it would be a 2 hour wait, then said it could be “in and out” so I waited in the lobby. 80 minutes later the service was done and I received my bill for $98??? I was relieved and very confused but I paid and left never to return.
