There is so much that we want to say about how much Dr. Oh means to our family. Our son’s trip to Weill Cornell was the first medical challenge our family has faced we have been very lucky, and sitting in the ER hearing his diagnosis was the scariest moment of our lives. But when Dr. Oh walked in to the room in the ER, we immediately felt reassured. He was confident, smart, compassionate and patient as he walked us through the surgery he needed and his recovery. Our son’s surgery went perfectly thanks to Dr. Oh and his team, and his recovery has been smooth. Dr. Oh has been available to us through every step of his recovery, and it is very reassuring to know he is there if we have any questions or concerns. We both will never forget Dr. Oh walking into our room to let us know the surgery went well – with a huge smile on his face that immediately made us feel better. Dr. Oh clearly has a gift - not only for surgery, but also for caring for scared parents during difficult times. We feel incredibly grateful that Dr. Oh happened to be on call when we were in the ER, and would recommend him without any reservation to any other family who needs a surgeon to care for their child. He is the best of the best.

The absolute best surgeon anyone can ask for. Was there for my daughters needs during her gallbladder surgery and explained every detail. He answers emails right away and always checks on the patient. He answers all questions and takes his time explaining. If anyone ever needs a pediatric surgeon Dr Stephen oh is the one to go to. Absolutely amazing. I cannot thank him enough.

Simply outstanding. Dr. Oh took the time to meet with us and fully explain our son's procedure, answering all our questions. When it was time for the surgery, HE personally wheeled my wife upstairs to the OR while she held our infant. Everything from his caring and patient approach to the quality of his work was exemplary. This is what a surgeon should be and I would hands down recommend him to anyone needing pediatric surgery.

i was a patient to get my gallbladder out with doctor oh! its been more than 3 weeks since my surgery and i feel better. made me feel very comfortable and answered all of my questions. best doctor ive had so far since this was my first surgery ever : really sweet and checked on me through my moms emails. my incisions are doing great and are healing amazing ! go to this surgeon ! i drove from staten island to the city to go see him

Dr. Oh is the *most amazing surgeon ever*. Dr. Oh was with us right after our baby was born, prepping us for his upcoming surgery with a few appointments where he checked in on our son, carefully explained the procedure, answered any questions, and was always responsive via email, which I just think is extraordinary. Then, when it was time for surgery, our 4-month-old, and we as a family, could not have had a better experience. Dr. Oh is *kind*. You can tell how much he cares about his patients and truly cares that the whole family understands what is happening. Dr. Oh assuaged our fears, talked us through every step, and made sure we felt comfortable, heard, and knowledgeable all along the way. Our son's surgery went perfectly, his recovery has gone perfectly, and we could not be more grateful to Dr. Oh. Thank you!!!

The absolute best!!!!!!!!!!! Not only is he very knowledgeable, he’s kind, and super patient. My daughter had to get surgery and he literally walked us through the entire process from start to finish. He really does all he can to make you feel comfortable and to let you know your child is in good hands. The surgery was beyond successful and healed beautifully!!!! Dr. Oh and the chief resident, Dr Robinson were amazing. They informed us along the way at every step of our daughter's emergency surgery. During recovery, I understood all aspects of the decisions that were being made for the care of our daughter. He and his team, answered every question with directness, respect and empathy. I am thankful Dr. Oh and his team were taking care of our family. I cannot say enough good about him and the team. We are grateful.

Dr. Stephen Oh was incredible with our daughter. He and his team went out of their way to make our daughter and us feel safe, comfortable an educated every step of the way of her emergency appendectomy. He made us feel every question we asked was relevant no matter how small our questions were. He put our mind at ease every step of the way. We can’t say enough great things about Dr. Oh. He was extremely patient and caring, not only with our daughter but with us being extremely worried parents.

I was so lucky to go to emergency room and get doctor Oh to do surgery on my 8 years old son. Very kind, knowledgable, and took the time to put me at easy and kept up with my son's recovery. Two days after surgery, it looked as if my son had no surgery at all. Very grateful! The very best!!
