We ordered via DoorDash Lamb & Beef Gyro and was excited about it since this is our first time trying their food. Generous portion of meat but the meats are super dry and tzatziki doesn't taste or not even close to tzatziki sauce, it was just a yogurt . The Baklava was ok but definitely not freshly baked. For almost $30 meal for 2, I would expect at least a decent dish. To give prospect customers a comparison, Arby's gyro is definitely way better than Padeli's gyro in terms of taste and freshness.
Great tasting food. Generous portion sizes. Nothing worse than a gyro with too little meat but they stuff theirs well. You can customize your toppings on the gyro or salad. The only disappointment was they have one of those drink dispensers that mix hundreds of drink combinations but they aren't all available..mostly coke/diet coke and a few flavor options fanta, sprite but they dont have all the Minute Maid lemonade and fruit drinks and not many low calorie options.
Amazing food, can’t understand why their hours are listed wrong and how they could be closed during the erarly evening. I legit am in disbelief they are closed on the weekends and after 4pm. How? You’re losing a customer to your competition downtown. An added comment to the owner besides to keep the place open later is to be sure that the servers stir and cycle the gyro meat sitting as the meat on top as it goes stale and ruins the bowls.
The food is great and the portions are even better. Definitely one of my go tos whenever I’m downtown. Most underrated restaurant downtown.Recommended dishesPita Chips, Spicy Feta, Street Gyros
Oh my gosh! I think I have found my new favorite Greek place in salt lake! I stopped by before picking my daughter up from the airport to surprise her and we both loved the rice bowls. Huge and full of flavor! We each only ate half. We also had the hummus and pita chips. Couldn’t have been better and I can’t wait to go back and take my husband.
You guys. I don't even know where to start. Run, don't walk, to Padeli's Street Greek in Lehi. This is my new favorite place to eat. Everything, EVERYTHING, was so incredible. You have to grab the pita chips and feta dip, I LOVED my spanakopita and the village salad with chicken...top of the line. My falafel gyro with Sriracha sauce was next level. If you love fresh, flavorful, healthy food, this place will win your heart. Seriously, my new favorite place to eat. Bring on fast Sunday. I'm enjoying the sun and well-fed. #padelisstreetgreek #Lehi #lfthx #organicad @padelisstreetgreek
Quality, fresh Greek food. Options like going to Qdoba... but Greek style. I had the bowl sound familiar? with rice, garbanzo beans, lamb beef kabob... plus pita, toppings and sauce. Watching them use a caulking gun to squirt out the sauce was a bit unnerving... Make it a combo and you get a side and drink. Plenty to eat and a nice alternative to a burger place. Customer operated soda machine takes a while to make a selection from many, many drink options and a line quickly forms. Most first time customers were a bit confused ordering as I was. If you don't know what it is or includes... ask. Menu on board is not very clear for new customers even if you have been to Greece. Seating could be more inviting like it is in Greece rather than a subway sandwich place. They do have limited outside seating for nice weather. Competition across the street probably keeps them doing their best. Greek music playing was a novel idea. Overall good food and I would go back... after trying across the street just to see what that is all about and make another review
Wow, what great food! We came with a large group ranging from grandparents to grandkids and everyone loved their food. The bowls are tasty and filling, the ingredients like the sriracha tzatziki were unique and flavorful. The falafel especially was good since they make is much less dry than other Greek or Mediterranean places. The pita chips on the side are phenomenal, with just the right balance between crunch and softness. We all loved it, and will be back soon!
This is the saltiest salad I've ever had in my life... I've never tried any Mediterranian food in my life so maybe this is how it should taste, but it was saltier the the actual salt itself.
We tried Padeli’s because we love a good gyro. The restaurant was clean and the employees were friendly and professional. We ordered 2 traditional gyros and a village Greek salad. The gyro had a healthy topping of lettuce. Lettuce on a gyro??? The meat and sauce were good, but the pita was too thick. I’m not sure any of the employees knew what went in the salad. One started it and the other took the container and added more ingredients. I’m not sure we got the actual salad, but the ingredients and the dressing were good.
