The Melting Pot - Salt Lake City

Our visit went great! Leo was our server and kept us very pleased during our visit. He kept our waters full and was very helpful. The food was amazing. If you want fondue at a restaurant this is the best option in the valley and you won't be disappointed. Great experience for a special occasion such as a birthday or anniversary. If it is a special occasion and you would like your server to surprise your special someone you can have them bring a surprise rose and chocolate dipped strawberries to your table by using the code words "add extra chocolate" when ordering dessert, or you can ask when setting up a reservation.

Dinner out, such a pleasant evening. I love the fact that this meal makes you slow down and enjoy the moments of sharing time with a great friend. Plan on spending and hour and a half to two hours for this meal, totally worth it! The four course meal is of your own design and that makes it even more special, and delicious. We enjoyed the meal, there were two types of seasonings on two of the meats that weren’t my favorite but that doesn’t mean you won’t enjoy it. Please go to this restaurant, take your time, savor the moments, and enjoy!

The service here is really attentive. Drinks were great, I got a bourbon rocks hubs got a mule he liked fine. Cheese course was excellent! We were not at all impressed with the coq a vin and will definitely try the oil next time. I trusted a recommend even though I knew boiled meat and veggies isn’t my thing. Personal taste is all it comes down to. My MIL is Swedish and hosts fondue party’s often and we’ve always fried the meat and veggies. I guess I wanted to try something new? Very very fun date night place. Makes you slow down and take the opportunity for good conversation.

We loved the food, our server & the experience! We tried the 4 course meal & had cheese fondue, salad, meat fondue & chocolate fondue. It was all amazing! We tried The Classic & the Pacific Rim for the meat fondue in oil. The meat comes with many dipping sauces which are all yummy however all the meat was either seasoned well or marinated & it was delicious without the dipping sauces. Our server was very attentive to all our needs and explained the menu with detail. He was so kind and helpful. We definitely will return!

It was a great experience eating at The Melting Pot! The staff was so kind, and we got seated very quickly. The food was amazing! Everything is a bit pricey but it was so worth it! My husband and I had the Big Date Night which was filling!

Decent place to try fondue. Ordered cheese and liked it. We badly wanted to try chocolate but they don’t have waffles and one order would be heavy to complete. Would have been yood if they have samplers to try out.

Super neat experience! The waitress was so sweet, we went to celebrate my birthday and without asking she brought us a “happy birthday” plate with a chocolate covered strawberry! Such a nice gesture.

Great service!! Great food!! The utensils were questionable on cleanliness when we went for our reservations at 9pm on a Saturday night. I'm not sure if their dish washer is working properly.. I might choose a different restaurant foe our 10th anniversary going forward. I can't lie.

I have not been to the melting pot in years, so it was nice to try it again. Since the last time I went here, you can now grill the meat course, which was nice as I prefer it to boiled fondue meat. The cheese and chocolate courses were fun as always. It is a place you go to be a participant in your meal.

Wonderful atmosphere felt warm and cozy even tho it was really busy. The food was good and I have never had an experience like it anywhere else. The food and drink did take a little while to get to us, but our server was really nice and kept us informed. This is not a quick date. If you plan to dine here give at least 2-3 hours.Food: 5/5
