Painted Valley Farms

I found Karen on Thumbtack and did a my first lesson with her on Scooter, a beautiful paint quarter horse. She has been teaching for years and it truly shows. She is one of the best trainers in town and has a long time following of students who have know her for over 15 years. She is very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. I picked up riding because I wanted a new skill to learn and I take my lessons very serious because someday, I'd like to get in to jumping, dressage or even barrel racing. She is fully capable of giving you a solid foundation with communicating to the horse and developing great balance. Learning on English style first has dramatically improved my athleticism and helps me have clear communication with the horse. She has plenty of boarding opportunities, sponsoring horses or just one time lessons. I'm looking forward to the warmer weather when we can the horses out for a trail rides. Long of the short, Karen is GREAT and so is everyone else around the barn. I plan on being a long term rider too! I've been riding for two months and have grown dramatically. I highly recommend Karen and think you should give it a try! Totally worth the great experience. I have grown as person just from the experiences I've learned from the horses! SO fantastic!!!
