Painting Lounge is designed for beginners. We provide all art supplies, and everyone is guaranteed to leave with a painting they can be proud of.

Story

Welcome to Painting Lounge! We are a painting studio in Midtown offering guided classes to people of all skill levels.

Painting Lounge classes are always in a relaxed, social setting. An experienced artist guides the class step-by-step through replicating each night’s featured painting. The process is easy, fun and totally stress-free. All art supplies are included. Many attendees find our classes a therapeutic and convenient way to tap into their creative side.

Our classes are perfect for beginners, so grab your friends, co-workers, fly solo or plan a unique date night. We are happy to announce that we got a liquor license for our Midtown studio, so you can now BYOB (Bring Your Own Beer or Bottle of wine/champagne) to any class!

I posted the reference image and my version of the painting. Went here on 09.09.22 at 6pm with my 4 friends. The class was pretty small that night; only 8 people that night. We painted "frozen stream." The instructor was T.J. Wagner. The experience was very good! T.J. is very talented and described each portion of the painting and strokes of the brush really well. The brushes I was using are not the best but, I made do with them.
First painting experience as a Christmas gift for my girlfriend and we had a wonderful time! Sabrina is such a great and knowledgeable teacher. We'd love to come back soon. Highly recommended.
Wonderful Studio for small to midsize events..great atmosphere and such a fun activity!! My group Loved it! And Patrice made what looked like a difficult painting, a BREEZE! And even helped when some of us went off script and turned ours into Winter scenes. Highly recommend.
It was very fun! The instructor breaks down the painting into different steps that makes someone extremely bad at any kind of art paint a nice painting. BYOB always a plus. Cant go wrong with the Groupon deal
We were so excited to go to this class and at the very last minute they canceled on us and said our only other option was to join another class with an entirely different painting. We chose the class because of the art that evening so it was very special to us. They were not upfront about getting a refund on our class they cancelled, and only offered to process it once I called to ask why they did not go through with the class. I did not appreciate the lack of customer service especially to 3 new customers. Disappointing and unprofessional.
This place is great for small and large groups as well as dates! I went with a group of about 10 and we all had a blast. They have a BYOB policy where you can bring your own beer or wine no hard alcohol and snacks to enjoy during the class. I can't remember our teacher's name, Bernard maybe?, was so energetic, enthusiastic and friendly. He made it easy to follow him, even for those who aren't artistic. They also had a mask policy during Covid which made our group feel safe. Overall, highly recommend this place if you're looking for a group activity. Lots of fun and a great price point!!
I had a great experience with Mercedes as a teacher. I will came back again and recommend this place to everyone.
It was our first time here for my adult daughter's birthday and we had the best time ever! Bernard, our instructor was really helpful, engaging and played great music. The room had about 30 people and he walked around helping us when he was not at the board teaching us. It's great to be able to bring wine and beer and everyone had a really good time!!! It was soo much fun!
Lovely experience, will be back for more insights on painting. The artist was attend and kind.
Super fun and worth it. Especially for non-artists like us this is such a creative experience for the soul!
