Went here over Memorial Day Weekend - loved the half wit and especially the mango IPA. Also had an amazing Polish food truck out front (props to those guys). Definitely worth a visit!

Espresso Porter is dope. I wasn't crazy about anything else. Space is nice. I like the glassware.

Charleston Session IPA is really good. Give it 5 stars if they had a few ciders for my wife.

I'm from Virginia. In Charlottesville, a 10 mile radius, there five times more breweries than within 5 miles of the Palmetto Brewery. Not having much competition provides for high ratings, I guess. I liked their ghost pepper IPA and espresso porter. Everything else was kinda boring and tasted like I made it at home with a generic kit when I was 22. The main area had a band and a bunch of bench seating. I tasted a beer there and asked why they only sold 4. I was told to go to the tasting room, which was down the bathroom hallway and was a classic bar setup. It was rather chic. The service was poor even with only 3 other patrons on a Friday night at 8 pm. As it began to get busier it became impossible to get a drink even when locking eyes with my server and holding my glass up politely in the universal sign of, "please get me a beer". I'd only had the two drinks so I definitely hadn't been overserved. My friend had the exact same problem. We paid and left to go to Reverly, a short walk away. The beer wasn't that good. My friend is a super beer snob and he was utterly unimpressed as well. The service was atrocious. I went to 4 other breweries while local. I'll never go back or recommend it.
