I can't stop coming back!! A must stop for me when visiting Denver, CO. The food is delish! The drinks are delish! Pan de Vida is one of the best mexican eateries in Denver! I guarantee that you will not be disappointed. P.S. Order your salsa at half and half It still will have a spicy lick yo it!!
Fantastic! Great food and friendly service. I had the shrimp fajitas and they were moist and flavorful and came out sizzling hot. My friend had a smothered shredded beef burrito and she said it was amazing. I will be back. Since my last review, I've been back several times and have changed my review to 5 stars, as they are consistently exceeding my expectations.
I don't know why I was drawn to this restaurant, but I was and tried it. I had the tacos Al carbon and the flavor was great. Generous portions. The service was excellent. I WANT TO SAY THIS: a group of 8 extremely snotty girls were there and raised hell over the bill because there was an error. The woman apologized like 4 times and said she would fix it. Then, the angry complainer just started kept on and said she was going to write a horrible review. This was 3/30/19. Please keep your eyes open for this review and ignore it. I would have comped them the meal and 86'd them. Everything tasted great. Didn't have to wait for a drink refill.
Had the guacamole tostadas. They are delicious!! The chips and salsa are wonderful...they serve salsa plus another dish of a dip that I didn't recognize, and it tasted very good. I'll be ordering take-out this evening before work. The waitress/owner was very friendly and the service was great. Personally, I love the "local" Mexican restaurants the best. Each one has their own special flavors.
Stopped by while on a road trip. Very disappointing food. Small portions with high prices. Menu picture lies about how big the tacos really are, would not come here again. The only good thing was our waitress was polite.
My family and I have been on a mission to find good Mexican food in Denver and so far have not had much luck. This place was horrible. When you first walk in you are thrown off by the dirty front door, I guess we should of turned around then right. As we walked in some of the tables were dirty and the menus have a different restaurants name on them. I will say they were very nice but their food was horrible. I ordered the carne asada burrito and it turned out to be a bean burrito instead. Our plates came out one at a time so by the time I was half way done my kids were barely getting their food. It was just not a good restaurant at all. Our search continues to find REAL Mexican food.
I tried this place this morning, Im so glad I did. Its a little drive for me but was so worth it. Good food, good atmosphere and a fair price. The owners seem like just good people. I highly recommend them.
This place has fantastic food that's well worth the wait and slight extra cost. It might appear to be a little worn on the outside and inside, but don't let that deter you from truly great food.
Very good food and the people who work there are so nice!
Love this place! The food is delicious and the two server's are so friendly. They always ask about my grandparents. Try the guacamole tostadas and the chile rellenos, they are the best!!!
