I bring my four year old daughter here for daddy daughter dates because she loves shrimp. Once a week her and I go out on a date just the two of us. She picks this place many many times. The staff at the commercial st Salem, OR location is always very friendly. They address my daughter directly and politely, give her time to answer and are always very patient! This location is always very clean, including the bathrooms. The food taste great, for what it is, and is never cold or old. Every time we come Lesli, an amazing female employee, is always here. She has become the familiar face my daughter looks forward to seeing every visit. “Daddy does she live here because she is here every time we come?” lol. Lesli is kind, compassionate, gentle, and caring when talking to my daughter. I have seen her interact with other employees and customers while visiting and she treats them the same. She is exactly the kind of employee I would want to hire if I was looking for more staff for my business.
I love the food. The experience really depends on who is working. There’s one specific girl and two guys that are amazing. When I see them I always order family meals. Anyone else they don’t fill the food to the top of the container. The Keizer location is nicer, but it’s fast food. They do a great job considering it’s always busy for minimum wage. People are too hard on them. You guys do a really great job even in intense situations. I’ve seen a line out the door frequently. Anyone mad you don’t take orders until right at the last minute is crazy. Anyone that’s ever worked in food knows the half hour before you official close is closing time for most food places. Thanks for all you guys do!
I was eating dinner with my husband and found not one, but two hairs in my chicken. Is someone shedding back there???
I placed an order through Uber Eats for pickup tonight at this location. This one star rating is for the experience, not necessarily the food, although lukewarm food isn’t pleasant. I arrived and was welcomed, told them I was there for a pickup for Tyler. They told me my order wasn’t ready yet, despite the app telling me my order was ready for pickup 3 minutes prior to me walking in. I said ok and stood aside while other people placed their orders. They got a big line of people about 7 minutes after I entered the store. After 15 minutes waiting and watching other people place their orders I knew something was wrong. Another person who had ordered takeout showed up and got their order, but I still waited. Finally after nearly 20 minutes an employee asked for my name again, which I correct them. And the manager says over the crowd, “I’ve got it here.” It had been sitting on the counter the whole time as far as I could tell. In 20 minutes no one thought to ask me where did you order it from? What’s your name again? They didn’t check their pending takeout orders. And after finally realizing they had my order ready, they never apologized, they didn’t remake my to go order that had been cooling down this whole time. Nothing. I realize they got busy, but I was the only person in the restaurant for 7 minutes before someone else walked in. There’s a way in which to provide clear checks and balances so this type of thing doesn’t happen. If only someone had asked what I was waiting for after a few minutes I would’ve been on my way so easily. I likely will not be returning after this experience.
When I eat the last piece, it tastes awful. I checked and it is still half uncooked. Look at this picture. See a pink inside chicken.Food: 2/5
Worst panda I’ve ever had. 2/3 cream cheese Rangoon’s had no cream cheese in them, the sauce tasted like ketchup, orange chicken was subpar, they had no chow mein left, and they forgot to give me silverware and a fortune cookie. All other panda locations I’ve been to were good, sad as a most recent experience.Food: 1/5
The food was delicious and fresh. The portions were good sizes. I'm not sure why they started giving cold Madarin Teriyaki Sauce? I'd prefer to put warm or hot stuff on my food! Especially when they have it behind the counter. They use to give you a cup of hot Teriyaki sauce for your food. Vegetarian options: They have a variety of vegetables that a person can choose from to eat. Wheelchair accessibility: The tables are wheelchair accessible.
Bright, clean, no frills decor. We sat at a booth right next to the line of people waiting to order. Don't go here for the atmosphere.Food: 3/5
Super friendly staff! Clean place to eat at. The guy up front was full of energy. I would come here again to eat! This time I did do take out but I wanted to go inside to see how it looked. Food for express 5 Service 5 Checking out 5 Condiments are at the front register is you are ordering get your extras there.
It's fast food at a decent price. If they are out of any food, their time frames of how long you will wait are not accurate, so keep that in mind if you say you're ok with waiting for some.Food: 4/5
