Awesome awesome ski shop. Been skiing for 22 years and this ski shop is the best in the city. They have knowledgeable staff who really know their craft. Great boot fitting/adjustment services, great products, and a GREAT atmosphere. If you need ski gear or ski services, this is your place. Duke was the staff member who helped us and we would go back just because of the service he provided. 10/5 stars….HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Came here for a boot fitting and binding adjustment on a Sunday afternoon. The shop was busy and they don't take appointments, but they started my fitting about 10 minutes after I arrived. Michael was super helpful, patient, and knowledgeable. I'm really satisfied with my purchase and even more impressed with their customer service. He adjusted my bindings immediately and I was able to take everything home with me same day - the whole process was about an hour. Paragon said it would take them 12 days to turn around a binding adjustment. Great to see a family business with passionate employees - will come here for all skiing needs in the future.

Just had a terrific experience renting skis for my son. Even in a packed store, service was wonderful -- attentive, patient, and really fast considering the crowds. Automatically extended our seasonal rental when I told them we have a late trip planned. Very impressed with the selection of clothing and gear for sale, especially for not being on a mountain.

I've been coming to Panda for seasonal rentals for ~12 years, and bought my first full set of gear here a couple years ago. Panda's been a staple in my skiing life. But my most recent experience topped all others: The boots I bought Solomon S/Max are incredibly rigid and are incredibly tight across the top of my feet. We did a molding when I first got them, but it was still uncomfortable and borderline unskiable on the coldest days. Came back for a sharpen & wax and to rent for my fiancee, and the owner, Robert, helped us out. Told him about my discomfort and he told me to bring the boots in when I picked up the gear. When I did, Duke took care of me. He checked out the pressure, tinkered with some settings on the boot, and ultimately we did a new molding with a pretty innovative idea using foam to artificially add more space. The boots felt totally different! I came in a bit late due to work, but Duke stayed after closing to help. Couldn't be more excited for the season. There aren't many ski shops in NYC, but even if there were Panda would be #1.

Visited this small but well stocked and well staffed business yesterday. It was just after school let out so they were busy but they took folks in order and spent quality time with each customer including us. The staff was attentive and professional including touching base with us while we were waiting. Highly recommend this business.

Fantastic experience buying boots from Panda. Despite having a busy shop full of customers, Robert the owner personally spent 30 minutes working with me to find the right boot, which he ultimately molded to fit my foot perfectly very rare for other retail shops to provide molding service on all boot purchases. I won’t go anywhere else in the NYC area for ski equipment again.

Amazing staff and prices. Went in looking to buy my first ski equipment in years and had me dripped down, within budget, having only spent 15 minutes total in store. Highly recommend.

We made the long trek from Queens to get my ski boots fitted, and our skis waxed. Owner Robert was so kind to help me fit the boot on the day of, and now it no longer hurts to ski in them. It made such a huge difference in my skiing. Absolutely thrilled. Thank you!

Need boots? Ask for Duke. OG boot fitter and one of the best in the biz. Got me into some Atomic hawks and the fit is prefect. Game changer! This place a gem, family owned and operated. Quality gear and killer staff. Easy to see how this shop has lasted in NYC.

Fantastic shop with super knowledgeable staff. I'm a relative beginner when it comes to equipment and Robert took me through the ins and out of exactly what i'm looking for and gave me tips on how to improve my technique. Would definitely recommend this place to ANYONE looking for new equipment or tune ups.
