OMG ..... had not eaten at Panera for a long time because ordering in store any store is an ordeal, it always takes too long no matter what is ordered from a simple coffee or pastry to an actual meal. today, due to rain we ordered on line ,we got chicken soups , well what a disappointment, the container is too small to actually be a bowl, $10.00 literally looks like mud water and the taste was horrific. and barely any chicken in it. was so disappointed with the size that i walk over to Crispy Chicken literally on the same block and ordered their chicken soup $5 night and day difference !!! a little bigger container, the flavor and appearance so much better, the manager of this Panera store should walk over to crispy chicken and get a chicken soup and compare it. in the pictures, the brown soup is Panera
Service was friendly, and the lively atmosphere is nice, but the line to place an order was slow, and the food took forever to come out. I got a couple sides of mac and cheese and that was it, yet it took probably 15-20 minutes to come out. I ordered to go, so it was only once I got back home that I came to discover that the mac and cheese that I waited for was not even the full serving. The larger side was roughly only 2-3 full, while the smaller cup was probably 3/4 full. It tasted great, but the hassle overall wasn't worth it.
There is not a single time I had ever received an order that was orderly like it was supposed to be. Yet I always cleaned any mess in the restaurant be it in the bathrooms or dinning area, organizing the chairs in the restaurant always and I mean always. I would try to clean up even the outside of the restaurant whenever it would be so dirty. I ate here several times and wouldn't bother to complain anymore since I had tried at other locations and still didn't change. I kind of learned to go along with the flow such that if they served me a disorderly meal, I would just accept it without questions. I wouldn't be so happy though as if I had received an orderly meal which I would need. All in all, this Panera location, please stay away from it because I was doing good for them while they insisted on doing evil to me
Panera has lost its mind. They think there food is so special that they are charging $10 for a HALF sandwich? No thanks, I will take my money elsewhere. There was nothing special about Panera before so there is definitely no reason to go there now. Go spend your money at Coffee Nature a few blocks away. It is a wonderful family owned restaurant with great food and good prices.
Overall, I think that this is a great study spot with potential to be a regular stop for me and my pals. Service was snappy, a very nice lady cleaned off our table when we came in, and our orders of mac & cheese were HUGE. My only complaint is that 45 minutes into our dining experience, the manager came over and said that they were closing the store. It was 1:15 p.m. on a Sunday - we were not given any explanation for this sudden shut down. To say that this was bizarre is an understatement. We were given free pastries to make up for the inconvenience and were promptly shuffled out. 5 stars for the free goodies - 3 stars for the absolute pandemonium caused by people evacuating the building. UPDATE: After my party switched locations for continued studying, we walked passed the Panera approximately 4 hours later and it was OPENED. A new staff had taken over and service was back to normal. SO STRANGE.
VISITED Panera yesterday aug '22 @ 5pm .. we had ; a chicken avocado sandwich / mac'n cheese , and soup. the eatery was not too busy but the orders took way too long. the place was not clean - dirty tables, sticky/ dirty floors , - the place needs a good cleaning. the staff was friendly - but the place was not clean. it is a good location - you can do better Panera. JDS/CT - aug '22 the food - was just average , if that .
Consistently great service. Food and drinks are always prepared fast and fresh with friendly staff. Family favorite
I’ve been to bus stations that are cleaner than this Penera. Perhaps it’s the local high school that makes life miserable for everybody else, but wow did I feel compelled to take a shower immediately after leaving this place.
I ordered soup and fruit cup. The soup was great as always. But the fruit cup looked dirty, like it fell on the floor.
DO NOT ORDER DELIVERY! Just don't do it. Trust yourself - it's not a good idea to order delivery from Panera. You will likely NOT get any food, and you want food, right? Edit after some food was finally delivered Ordered delivery twice. Both times was assured by a driver that thee food was on the way - that there was traffic and they were running late. Both times the driver never showed, and stopped responding. Both times I waited over two hours. Both times I ended up having to call the corporate number for a refund, and was run through the hold/questions ringer. The second time current I still have yet to be refunded, despite ordering over two hours ago now! Remember - Panera DOES NOT actually deliver! I'll believe it when the food actually has been delivered even once! EDIT: Two and half hours later excuse was "Zoolights" this time, and we got half of our food! Of the 7 things we ordered, three were missing - two soups and a mac and cheese but a rouge piece of bread from the soup was floating around in the bag - my guess is someone else complained and they gave my soup away earlier on the route. At least we have this wholly inedible "sandwich" to eat... Oh, and I live less than a mile and a half away!!!
