Pappas Bar-B-Q

Dang good BBQ. We had the meat trio with a rib, brisket, and sausage and that was delicious. The meat and most sides had some good Texas spice to it. I recommend the yams with the meat and the cream corn. Yum! The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was very chill. We heard about it from four different people so we had to try so we came from South Carolina to try so that needs to be the next state y'all. Right in Greenville, SC and you will have a few new customers on day one! Best dang BBQ!

I had a sliced brisket sandwich basket. They served a good portion of brisket and plenty of fries. My partner ordered the 1/2 Chicken combo plate with potato salad & ranch beans. Very good. Staff is very courteous & professional. The dining area is very clean with nice decor. Restrooms were very clean.

Great food at a great price. This was our first time at a Pappas BBQ and we were not disappointed. Behind the counter, Katina was super friendly and helpful. We ordered the Family Board, which came out quickly. There is so much meat and sides for $42. The meats tasted great, especially the ribs, which were fall off the bone. The brisket was a bit dry but still good. The coleslaw and mac and cheese were both great. Overall, a wonderful experience.

Excellent Location and ambience. Very quick service and staff were friendly and helpful. Brisket was perfect and extra juicy. Green beans were well seasoned and delicious, could’ve been a little larger on the rice portion. Only negative was a misinterpretation on the order which made it more expensive than expected.

Texas style BBQ joint that did Not disappoint. Got the baby back ribs which were cooked perfectly! The sweet rub was really good, and espresso BBQ added a really interesting twist. Overall super happy I tried it here!

Great place. I ordered the dinner with two meats brisket and sausage and two sides coke slaw and green beans. The brisket was lean and the sausage had a nice smoky flavor. The cole slaw was fantastic and the green beans fresh — not like the mushy canned ones usually served at bbq joints. The only disappointment was that they don’t serve pickles with the meal. They only have raw onions and jalapeños.

I’ve been going here for years and this place consistently has the BEST brisket and Mac & cheese I’ve ever had. Thick, juicy cuts of brisket, gooey Mac and cheese - just how I like it. I’ve tried all of the other local “big names” and they don’t hold a candle to the Pierce St Pappas. 10/10 every time.

Better than expected and for the price you could not beat it. Indoor / outdoor seating available. Only complaint is most of the tables were dirty and no one was cleaning them up.

I would say that this is the best BBQ spot I have ever been. Everything I ordered was great. From the BBQ’s to yams and cheesecake everything I tried was just simply amazing. The service was great too.
