Pappas Bar-B-Q

Was told this was the best bbq in Houston, hell, they lied! Portions were a decent size but taste/flavor, I've had better bbq than this. I ordered baked potato with chopped beef, wife ordered sausage sandwich. Got to say, the only good things here were the sweet tea and the banana pudding.....

Fast food Texas style. BBQ pork, beef and chicken, all ready in an instant. Portion sizes are big or massive. Don't go if you're not hungry. What you gain in speed and size, you lose slightly in quality.

First taste of Texas BBQ and I was not disappointed! Not many proper BBQ joints in downtown Houston, but this is a good find! Had the 2 meat combo of brisket and pulled pork, with mac and cheese and potato salad on the side. Finished off with sweet tea. Yum!

Turkey was dry and the brisket was ALL fat. For $18 a plate, I expect better food. Yuk.

I admire this restaurant a lot. It has a special atmosphere. The meals are very tasty. the service is powerful and the personel is polite. The pay is modest. truly recommend.

Awesome food. Best beef fajitas in town. Called in order, ready when I got there. Server inspected order with me before I paid, all correct. In and out in 5 minutes.

Good BBQ and lots of seating. Lunch special is really a good deal. Very good staff working there.

I had the brisket in jalapeño roll - possibly the best BBQ beef I've ever had. Outstanding.

Good food and great taste .staff's are very friendly and the atmosphere is very cozy.I recommended to all!!!
