Paramount Middle Eastern Cuisine

I really liked this place before but then they did some changes and now it's not quite worth the money for us. I'm giving four stars because their other options are really yummy and their staff is always really friendly with fast service. I don't like the new grills, they heat up faster but they also get dirty faster and covered in burnt bits which transfers onto your meats. We almost needed 2 grill changes. The pork isn't as good which I think is because it seems certain meats aren't marinated or flavoured anymore. Still a really fun place to go but I think it was better before.

First and foremost, this is a halal restaurant. The food is good and wait times and typical of places like this (generally takes 20-30 minutes to receive all your food, usually in increments). Food is expensive but the upside is there is a plethora of dishes to choose from. Service is friendly and helpful with good amount of seating. Overall a good place to for family outings once in a while.

Didn't really know what to expect. Enough of the feast included pickled items that some of us didn't enjoy. Soft drinks were a bit on the upper range of pricing at $2.50/can. Suggest going with water with the meal and have a tea/coffee with the dessert. The 1/2 kg platter meal we shared didn't look like enough for four adults and two children but there was still some left over at the end. Getting hot fresh made pita looking like balloons was a true pleasure. We tore through those is rapid succession bring used with the fresh hummus. Not sure I'm ready to return quite yet. Children have a nice play area and adults can enjoy dinner and conversation nicely.

I love this restaurant. It has such a humble and welcoming atmosphere to it, and they have great food. Their washrooms are always clean, and their staff is very kind. I can't give 5 stars cause they sometimes cheap out by filling my wraps with pickles instead of chicken, or they put like 5 grams of chicken on my Yala special.

Heard mixed things about this place. I decided to try the chicken shawarma plate for takeout and was very disappointed. The chicken was very good itself but the portions for price was no where worth it. Very bland rice and did not come with any white sauce or just any kind of sauce. The plate was $18 I can list many different places that have more portions and better shawarma for half the price. I am disappointed I wasted $18 for this “plate”. Perhaps it is better if you dine in but I do not suggest takeout. Really disappointed.
