These are the facts and nothing but the facts: I live in Miami and this firm is in Pensacola. The only reason they appeared on my radar was due to a very pursuasive letter I received from Chip Parker referencing the details of my case against a collection agency. After several e-mail exchanges with Chip as to the game plan going forward. Chip informed me that “he was 100% comfortable presenting the legal argument that my case would be dismissed for lack of subject matter jurisdiction”. Long story short: We lost and Chip wanted more money to represent me if I wanted to settle with the collection agency. Conclusion: I settled the case myself for twice the amount I paid Chip. YOU’’VE BEEN WARNED!!

Bankruptcy was a scary term for me and I wasn't sure it was the best option. After speaking with Mr. DuFresne at my initial consultation, I felt more comfortable with the idea, and learned that it would be a good way for me to start over and receive a second chance to rebuild my credit after some bad financial decisions. The staff at this firm (Sandra and Halah) were so helpful during this process. They answered all my questions (and I had a lot!) and never made me feel ashamed or inferior because of my financial struggles. They allowed me to set up a payment plan which was crucial - I wouldn't have been able to afford this process otherwise. I will refer anyone that is looking for a good bankruptcy lawyer to Parker & DuFresne.

Chip was outstanding. He was not just professional, but also kind. Chip and his firm treated me like a person, not just a client, and that means the world to me. Not only will he be my first call should the need arise, but I’ve been referring him to anyone that will listen.

My husband and I were confused and anxious over IRS debt and an HOA issue. This firm answered EVERY question and offered alternatives for us to select from! I can tell you that anytime I had any question no matter how “insignificant” it may have appeared in the grand scheme of things, it was always answered by a staff member without delay. Having never been through the process, I felt like my questions may have seemed stupid at times but they always answered with the utmost professionalism and candor. I would HIGHLY recommend this firm to anyone (and I have) for real estate questions or for a case of bankruptcy. I am grateful for everyone’s help and appreciated the attention that was paid to our case!
