Parkside Barber Shop & Grooming Lounge is synonymous with class, integrity and expertise. The entire staff is warm and friendly. I've had my hair cut by many of the barbers but spent most my time with Karim and Angelo. Both Karim and Angelo are outstanding in their specialized knowledge and skill. I always walk out with a stellar haircut. I've lately had appointments with Karim. He gives focused attention to detail that flatters your facial shape and hair type. I would highly recommend Parkside Barbershop. The owner, Robert Jones, has truly captured the spirit and nostalgia of a gentleman's grooming lounge.

I have been coming to Parkside since June of 2016 when I moved down from Boston. Finding a new barbershop, especially in a new city, is tough. I had bad experiences at 3 other places before discovering Parkside. Everyone is extremely welcoming, like Courtney at the front. Amanda is my barber and she does a fantastic job. Always positive and she takes pride in her work. I always leave as a happy customer with Parkside. Great atmosphere with the TVs and layout. Highly recommend to anyone looking for an affordable and high quality cut.

I was visiting out of town for business and needed a good cut. This barbershop is modern with the old time class and expertise of a classic barbershop. Complementary beverages, well equipped barbers and a spacious comfortable setting made for a great visit. I had Tyson Moore, who is a down to earth man who will solely focus on you and your needs when cutting your hair. He’s efficient and precise! Thank you, Parkside, for your hospitality!

I have been to a lot of barbershops in Richmond and between all of them Parkside really stands out. It’s different from any place you’ve ever been to, from the moment you go inside realize what I’m on about. They make getting a haircut special, getting a haircut at this place is like an occasion. I’ve tried most of the barbers at this place but there is only one guy that I particularly like and his name is Karim. He is incredibly nice and he works on your hair patiently makes sure you are getting the best haircut you possibly can. it’s his precision that made him my go to barber. If you go to this place, always ask for Karim and believe you will not be disappointed.

Parkside barber is hands down the best barbershop in the Richmond area. The staff is extremely friendly and has always accommodated me. They always take me in with a smile. I always go to Karim and he has never let me down. He’s truly a professional barber that does fantastic work. I will always go to Karim every 3-4 weeks and leave completely satisfied every time. Highly recommend him and the barbershop if your looking for great cuts and friendly staff!
