Hands down one of the best and most authentic dive bars in the city. Classic vibe, cheap drinks and shots, pool table and shows in the back. You won’t find many places like this, especially in this neighborhood which has no shortage of bars but mostly filled with more pretentious places.
Love this place! Edgy dive bar with super friendly staff and Pam the bartender is awesome. Drinks were really inexpensive and tasty. Pool table and chill friendly crowd, where you can chat with anyone. In the back is the best part, where they host open mic night with some serious talent. From singers and songwriters, to freestyle rappers, musicians and spoken word, everyone has a voice. Can't wait to go back and perform again, Mike is awesome. Also met a hottie playing pool unexpectedly, definitely will be back!
One of the last real dive bars in the LES. Good beer selection, even better prices. Unpretentious and genuine. Whenever I’m down this way, I somehow always find myself having a drink here.
False advertising bar and grill but a well dressed line backer was the nicest most charming charismatic bouncer I've ever saw. A bit too professional for a dive bar .The bathrooms were terrible but hey it's a dive bar and there were atleast four people with pet dogs there.lol frozen margaritas will sneak up on you
My best memories of NYC include the Parkside Lounge. I hope to make another open mic this year.
Worst place to go. Angry bouncer, bad bartender. If you win in the pool they kick you out. They kick me out twice because I won their wick team. It is bad that after I paid they complain aboutr
Happy hour every day $3 beer on tap. Poetry in the back room. Gregarious customers sports TV.
I went to Parkside Lounge for a meetup in the back room. The acoustics were good, the live music was nice, the atmosphere was conducive to conversations with friends, and the drinks were decently priced. But it was just that: average. There was a 20 dollar minimum charge for cards.
Best bar in town! Come to So True, Bestie comedy show and the Diet Zhuzh dance party!
This is my favorite bar in the lower east side! Such a cool atmosphere & always a great time :
