The team at ADBD is awesome. I love my hygienist Vanya. Randy and Co at the front desk are so sweet and always make my visits feel welcoming. After negative experiences with Great E and Mint D I will never stray from this office. Trustworthy and always easy. They care.
This is the best dentist office I've ever been to. Everyone is warm and friendly, and the facility itself is bright, open, spacious, and very modern. Unlike my old dentist where you had to wait months for a simple cleaning, I have always been seen within a couple of days when I've called for an appointment or scheduled one online. I've also never felt rushed because Dr. Freeman and the hygienists always take the time to answer all of my questions. It is obvious that Dr. Freeman and his staff genuinely care about their patients and enjoy what they do. And on top of all that, they have good magazines in the waiting room and play good music!
Good dentist. Nice office. A long way up from the medicaid dental offices that I'm used too. The highlight of my appointment on yesterday was the warm rag they give after my cleaning. Made me feel as if I've made it in life after leaving here.
I think my cleaning at Dentistry by Design yesterday was the best customer service experience I've had anywhere. I had put off the dentist for over a year, and was nervous going in. But this office, from reception to the hygienist and dentist were so nice. They didn't give me any grief over my delay, or try to sell me on anything. The office itself is beautiful, low lighting and comfortable waiting room, and calming music. Noticed they had a play area for children. Highly recommend!
The experience was stellar. The receptionist greeting was warm and efficient. Michelle, dental hygienist, completed the cleaning in a timely manner while ensuring the cleaning was thorough. Randi's pleasantries as I completed the payment for the fluoride treatment are memorable. My anticipation and excitement for my next visit in November are barely containable. Oh, and the dentist examination of my gums and teeth left me at peace because there were only positive comments on my oral condition. Kudos to all.
Excellent care! Great customer service. I've been a patient for several years and am so happy I found Dr. Freeman and his team. They go above and beyond to offer world-class dental care. I highly recommend Atlanta Dentistry by Design if you're looking for a new dental home.
Absolutely the BEST dentist office! The front desk coordinators & hygienists are so sweet and personable. I have been a patient here for nearly 10 years and have recommended Dr. Freeman to just about every single person I know. Even through changing jobs, changing insurance, and moving to the suburbs I still make it a point to come to this office.
I went to get a cleaning and overall, I had a pleasant experience. The dental hygienist had great bedside manner, was very attentive to my questions, and was very knowledgeable about general dental care. She seemed personable and made me feel comfortable. However I think she over-spoke by suggesting I get additional oral work done than I actually needed the head Dentist decided against these procedures during his examination of my teeth. While I appreciate the hygienist's proactiveness and consideration for my dental health, it just added unnecessary stress and anxiety to my visit. For that, I'll have to knock off a .5 star. The other .5 star deduction is for the Dentist. He walked in and didn't bother to give eye contact when talking to me. For the most part, his conversation was mainly directed towards the practitioner. In all, his time with me seemed rushed and his attitude seemed cavalier. That just might be his disposition or he might've been busy and didn't have any ill intent, but it slightly rubbed me the wrong way, as someone who was raised to give direct eye contact to anyone I'm talking with and provide my undivided attention. It improves bedside manner.
What an amazing experience! Super friendly and efficient staff. Jamie was such a joy. She answered all my questions and was so gentle working on my teeth. Dr. Freeman also fantastic of course. The hot towel at the end really next level. Big fan and weirdly can't wait to go back...to the dentist? :D
This is really a 1-Star review, but hoping more people see it. “ Dr. Freeman doesn’t make any money off this!” Dr. Freeman is a wonderful dentist. However, his front desk seriously needs some help, particularly as a relates to following up and the manner of conduct with their patients. This review is about Randi. Around November 2022, during my annual check up, I asked Dr. Freeman if there was any kind of retainer or headset that would allow me to not bite down on my Tori. *I* asked about it. He gave me a recommendation and noted it on my chart and said someone from the front desk would follow up with my insurance, but also to work out the molding for it. This was something that was done in house by him so I need an appointment. Never heard anything. February 2023 came and for whatever reason I was back at the dentist… I had to follow up with the desk. They had no idea what I was speaking about. Eventually, I got fitted for the retainer I wanted in MAY 2023. At the time I was told it would be $600 and something dollars. I paid out of pocket. In the attached photo you’ll see as soon as I got home, I was told that was incorrect, a “Mix up”. It was actually $850 and to pay the rest when I picked up the night guard. I ended up paying the rest when I picked up my night guard and when I asked the front desk if they had called my insurance, another woman who is preoccupied with a summer Mason jar contest they had at the front desk, told me that looking at my insurance I would get back $300. I said, OK - no problem. Turns out my insurance was never called ever — In fact, I was not going get any money back. That’s fine. Confused by all the back-and-forth I just called my insurance directly. They sent me what I thought was a bill and when I eventually called in the fall of 2023, Randi picked up the phone and yelled at me no joke - Her voice was so loud on my receiver there had to be other people inside the office who heard her and talked down to me saying “You’re not being billed for ANYTHING!” and “Dr. Freeman doesn’t make any money off this!!” and the nasty remark, as if they were doing me a favor, “looking at your chart, you *really* needed this retainer.” — WOW. I told her this: I wouldn’t be calling you right now had people at the front desk done their jobs so I can find out what’s happening. You have my record in front of you… who has called me during this process? She had no answer. I wouldn’t be calling and following up if you guys had done your jobs and now you have an attitude with me because I am calling you for answers? Seriously. How completely unprofessional. CIGNA called me.. it was a woman who had worked there for 30 years… the manager to the rep I spoke to earlier, who said that when she called Randi, Randi hear it was CIGNA, figured it was about me and put her on hold… and that she had never encountered someone so rude and her 30 years at CIGNA! She said what did I do? That was the insurance’s experience with her. To this day, I still tell everyone and anyone that I know about Randi’s behavior — Even other dentist in Midtown. How she got away with not being fired after speaking to me that way I don’t know. Dr. Freeman’s a nice guy, but the front desk should maybe she spend less time playing games and more focused on their job. I recorded Randi’s conversation with me halfway through. Happy to send to whoever needs it. This behavior was unacceptable and as a loyal patient, I no longer go here anymore.
