We replaced both the wood flooring and carpet in our home and were blown away with the finished product. Clint Spencer was attentive and extremely helpful with product selection, Diane in their scheduling department called us multiple times to remind us well in advanced of floor install dates/times. The crews that installed both the vinyl plank and the carpet were excellent; they were timely, extremely courteous, very respectful to my family but also with our home and true craftsman/woman. I would and have recommend Paulson's Floor Coverings to anyone looking for an all around great experience. Thank you for transforming our home!

I had a wonderful experience working with Paulson's Floor Coverings on Science Park Drive in Portland. Paulson's has a great reputation, but price was a big factor for me. So, I shopped around and can confirm that their price for the engineered hardwood I wanted is the best in town. Installation happened on time and took only two days. My house is old circa 1924, so they had to deal with uneven floors and other challenges. I am very happy with the end result, and I've received many complements on how pretty the floors look. I will use Paulson's for my future flooring needs and will recommend them without hesitation to family and friends.

I had a great experience with Paulson's floor coverings, their sales rep Pat and the sales team, the installation team and the scheduling team. I wanted carpet in not that common color purple and Paulson's had the most varieties among several other flooring stores I visited. We got professional help and care from the very beginning to the end and we were very pleased with the quality of the carpet, installation, and service.

Pat Rivera at the Science Drive location was very helpful while not trying to push us toward a particular direction. I appreciate it when the sales staff are there to help when you ask and otherwise leave you to think. We got wood plank tile, and decided to lay the tile ourselves to save money. Pat readily told us what we needed to do to prep the floor. And to boot, loaned us his personal tile-cutting tool and wet saw! We were able to take our time and do a good job even though we'd never done it before. Now to finish everything else!

Paulson's knows what they are doing and does it well! Jerry helped us throughout - from picking out our flooring until our final payment. He kept us informed, providing helpful service and information that guided us to choices we are happy with. Danielle scheduled the work, and she's so warm, efficient, pleasant, and friendly that I looked forward to connecting with her, even though we only spoke a couple times. Alex did an expert job installing the floor in all three bedrooms in one day so quick!. Our new floors transform our home in a very wonderful way, and I couldn't be happier. It was a pleasure working with Paulson's. Our kitchen floor needs to be replaced, and we will definitely choose Paulson's when we're ready to tackle it!

We just ordered our flooring at Paulson's with Jerry! When looking for a flooring company, we wanted someone we could trust with a massive overhaul of our new home. The moment we walked in to the store, we felt at ease and Jerry was honest and kind about the materials we were looking at. We can't wait to get scheduled and have our install happen. Thank you, Jerry and the rest of the Paulson's team for making what could be incredibly stressful, easy and exciting.

Sales and install went fine for new carpet throughout much of our home, but 6 weeks later the carpet failed the test of its stain resistance when our dog vomited. This is a Shaw carpet that specifically advertises pet resilience. Cleaned it up right away including multiple passes with carpet shampooer, but bright yellow stain persists on the blue-green carpet. We first contacted Clint Spencer at Paulson's for warranty support and were told that he filed a claim for us right away Shaw states that no claim was filed and that we should wait a week or two for an inspector to come out and assess the situation. It is now seven months later and still no action. I have called Clint/Paulson's many times to check on the status, only to be told it is "in process" or "any day now" or "inspectors are overbooked because of the pandemic" or "We've got your back and won't just leave you hanging on this" or "I'll be talking with our Shaw rep later this week and will get back to you with an update" FTR, only once in more than a dozen promised "I'll get back to you" did they actually get back to me. Now we are being told that we need to pay for a professional cleaning before they will even look at the stain. Neither Paulson's nor Shaw can clearly indicate where that requirement is in the warranty language. Bottomline, Shaw's stain-resistance claims are garbage as is Paulson's warranty support. Would not buy from them again.

My husband and I went to Paulson’s to look for floor options to replace our son’s bedroom carpet. Our son is very allergic, we tried every treatment to improve his respiratory condition and the doctor recommended us to remove the carpet. When we got to Paulson’s, Pat was very welcoming, helpful and knowledgeable. He guide us on selecting the correct square footage needed for our flooring as well as walked us through everything we needed to finish this project. We are very excited to finally remove the carpet and hopefully reduce our son’s allergies. I highly recommend Pat and his team for any house projects.
