Work here as volunteer. Very clean and organized. Met a few adopters during my shift, pet some kittens, cleaned cages, and did laundry. Come here if you want to adopt or just want to contribute to the community!
Went in to adopt a cat was told it would be about a week to hear back. An attendant came up to me asking questions and was genuinely enthused about the pets and adoption process. Great customer service
My experience with Paws has been exceptional. I had a lot of help and support with the members of PAWS. The staff in-store was friendly and answered all of my questions and provided me with so much helpful information. I had the best experience with foster parent Kristin. Kristin you are awesome. You were kind, comforting, and caring. Your communication was awesome and you made me feel comfortable. I am so happy to have adopted Sabrina. She is awesome just as you said she would be. She will be loved and cared for in the most precious way. Thank you Paws, & most of all thank you Kristin!
Adopted a pair of sibling cats last week via a PAWS foster. The whole process is very organized, they keep impeccable health and adoption records. It is very clear how much everyone involved cares about these animals. I really recommend considering PAWS if you're looking to add some friends to your family. This was the process: Application. Phone conversation. Approval. Visitation. Adoption paperwork, payment, & receive records.
Adopted this beautiful girl, Zelda, in January and she was so shy, but after just about a week of being with me, she's opening up and playing and socializing. The staff at PAWS were so sweet, kind and informative when I came in for a meet-and-greet, then to adopt. With all the information they provided me with, including insurance and vet recommendations, I was prepared for her arrival and adjustment to her new home. I've already fallen in love with Zelda
Now this is Interesting... I contacted paws exactly a week ago leaving a voice mail message because no Paws location ever pick up the phone to take a call long before the pandemic and right to this day I still have not received a call back but I leave one star under a review and now someone wants to speak to me but about the review Very interesting.
I love being able to volunteer here a couple times a month when I'm off of work. Everyone is such a hard worker and it is all about the animals. Adopt don't shop
I adopted Petey now known as Phantom this past September @ clear the shelter. he's an incredible cat! Much better experience than I previously had at another Philly shelter. PAWS is upfront with medical issues should there be any and really check the cats over before offering them up for adoption. It's not just an off the street, here he's yours now situation. Really great people and operation. I will be back soon to get him a friend!
Went thru the vetting process via telephone interview and was approved to adopt. Have not made an appointment yet as I'm still grieving over the loss of my cat Fearless who was run over by a car. The process was easy after filling out the online application. Two thumbs up to PAWS
Paws is a great organization. We loved the service and support we received in going to the adoption center. We were looking for a bonded pair of cats and the only two pairs they had didn’t work for our needs one set were adults over 8yo and the second set were kittens with FIV. We’ll be definitely looking to their fosters!
