I am in debt to this SPCA for the effort and money they spent to save the life of our sweet Noodle!! Many other rescues would have uthenized her due to her many infections and the fact that her eyes had to be removed to save her. She is amazing and an every day inspiration, a gift that keeps on giving! I hope to encourage people to adopt blind pets as they really are amazing and will give back to you continually!! She is so affectionate, funny, playful, confident, and doesn't seem to know she doesn't have eyes, hahaha. THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!!!!
The place was great, the animals were cute and the staff were wonderful they take good care of the animals and they even have the background story of the animals. If you ask me that is the most heart warming thing ever. They don’t discriminate they take care of any animal and you can even adapt your pets they at an affordable price. And of course the animals them self were the cutest thing ever. Specially the rabbit.
Took my 2 year old dog here for a Vet visit and everyone was super nice and friendly. The Vet was great. She took her time with Bellamy dog who was very excited and was being very nosy about the new surroundings. I would definitely take my dog back and would recommend the SPCA for all your Vet needs.
They did such a good job with my dogs surgery. He is almost done healing and he is slowly getting back to his old playful self! Love the SPCA
Hello readers. If you're looking for A new kitty to your family,This is the place to go to. Anna is a staff employee there and she had all of the right answer to our questions. Also She went above and beyond for me,To find me the right kitty for my family. I want to thank Anna for All of her Skills And Patience.Thank you very much again. For our new kitty to our home lil December will be very happy.
If you need shots, spaying, or neutering services, take your pet here! It's really affordable! It would be perfect if they had a closed in play area for the dogs to play while waiting to be seen. Email is the best way to get an appointment. I had an appointment & still had to wait 40 minutes to be seen. The front desk gets congested; it needs a little more organization. Some of the front desk staff is unneccesarily snappish.
I've had services with my dog in the past and they are fantastic. I recently adopted a dog and Veronica and Rebecca at the adoption desk were super helpful. Got a new best friend and couldn't be happier. Highly suggest getting there early, it can get crowded and wait time can be long but totally with it.
I took my dog to cross over the rainbow on December 14th 2022, this past Monday. I'm going to start with the receptionists. They had no compassion whatsoever. They seem to have only one veterinarian. She didn't introduce herself. She was heartless. The veterinarian is a Caucasian lady with a lisp, or she's deaf of hearing. When she started to inject the lethal injection on my Max, she was doing it in a hurry, because she had other dogs. She pressed that injection in a hurry. She didn't walk us through the process. No compassion from the receptionist to the vet. Go elsewhere. They don't care for your fur babies. They're all heartless. My poor Max. I should have went elsewhere. I'm so sorry for bringing you to this horrible place, Max. Forgive me my poor fur baby. Not to mention that they never, ever answer the phones. So unprofessional!
Most staff members except the elderly volunteers or staff are rude and unresponsive, especially if you are Asian Americans. They will take whoever comes after you at the reception as long as they are from other ethnic groups. Besides the dog sheltering area smells horrible as they clearly don’t have enough staff to clean up the dog feces. I would agree they do have a good selection of dogs. My mom and I actually found several good possible picks but the terrible experiences with their staff really turned us off. There are so many other animal shelters in the region and I will never visit this facility again.
I went here for vaccines and they were so rude to my dog and my daughter. They were acting all sketch with my dog cause he has pit in him. As a facility that works with animals, why aren’t they trained to deal with any and every situation? If she was so concerned about being bit than place a muzzle on him but of course my dog jerked because she came from behind him with a needle. What do they expect a dog to do when a stranger is behind them? Common sense is common sense and sadly because this is where I took my dog I had to put my dogs meds through here to be approved but something tells me my dog is going to suffer until someone decides to approve his needed medication. I try and try with this place and it’s always utter disappointment My baby doesn’t feel well. The place I took him the year before would take care of these things within seconds of the website sending over the info
