Really great vendors and food options. With that said, it could have been organized a lot better. I wish they would limit the amount of people let into the building a little more. We were packed like sardines. Worst yet, there was little ventilation. They set up a huge evaporative cooler, which made the area 20 feet around it cooler, but the rest of the building felt like a humid locker room due to the moisture pumped into the air. It was easily 85 degrees plus, nearing 100% humidity inside. I couldn't stop thinking of COVID. I would also recommend more outdoor seating. There were very few tables given the amount of people. I ordered food that really couldn't be eaten standing up, so I had to take it home. We paid the $10 fast pass entrance, and definitely recommend that. The other line wrapped around two city blocks. Like I said, the vendors were fantastic and it's worth going to once... Just wish it was organized a little better.
No admission required but you can buy a fast pass ticket to skip the long entry line. The line did go pretty fast at around 6pm. Lots of great local vendors and food trucks. Very crowded so be aware if you don't like people.
What a great venue and experience for the community. The care and attention that goes into the events is special, bringing together friends and family with food and fun several times a year. Can't wait for the next one!
Loved the place. There's a $10 entry fast pass or you can wait in a long queue which also moves pretty quick. There are 2 bars one on the inside and other one outside in the center of 10-12 foodtrucks. The people, food and music is great. You can take photos with llamas. The market houses small home owned businesses selling their products like handcrafts, paintings, artifacts, daily use household items.
Awesome indoor Night Market that popped up in the Central Eastside Industrial District about 5 years ago. Kinda like the Saturday Market but more for adults. Dozens of booths representing local artists and businesses. Plus food carts, a full bar and music. Nice thing is that the local breweries and distilleries give out free samples. Runs 4 weekends out of the year. Got a margarita in a lightbulb, an 8 pack of Nutella Sea Salt donuts from Pips and had a lot of fun!
Always fun with lots of vendors who give out free samples and great food carts. Music is great too! Photo opportunities galore
Such an amazing experience! There were a ton of food cart options outside and a cool tattoo truck doing real tattoos with appointments! There were so many vendors inside with such great items! Loved the gluten free treats from Sinful Confections! Don't forget to go upstairs and check out the cool rooms up there too!
A really cool whimsical vibe with a variety of phenomenal vendors. The food options are great! I recommend getting there early, checking out the indoor vendors, then going outside for food and people watching as darkness settles. The picture shows a pineapple flavored cotton candy on a stick that is bigger than my son.
Look. If you're coming here to shop..... ehhhh not so much. Sure they got a few soap booths. And crafts booths. But mostly alcohol booths. And it's hot. And crowded. By crowded I mean nut to butt. Cool to do one time I guess. Its like the good will version of pikes place in Seattle. Minus the cool booths, variety, and charm. If you’re their for the music and after dark activities I can't speak for that. Wasn't astounded by the food carts. Many places with more and better food carts in my opinion. I was outside in that area long enough to see a bunch of single older ladies try to be young and a bunch of young lady's see their future. And was ready to go before hips were thrown out trying to dance to the music the 16 yr old next door jams to. Again I wasn't outside for more than 15 minutes. And it wasn't a special event or anything.
The concept of this is great & I loved a lot of the food while some of the venders left a lot to be desired just wasn’t the greatest but this night market could definitely be improved & organized better, inside was very hot with little to no ventilation & they let in so many people you couldn’t walk without bumping into someone if they know it’s a popular event they need to rent a larger building & outdoor space. There was hardly any seating compared to the amount of people that were there & it was hard to stand & eat when people are trying to squeeze past you or bump into you every 5 seconds. I went for my birthday to have a fun time but I truly regret choosing this to be what I did for my birthday it wasn’t a bad experience but it also wasn’t a good experience it was 50/50. Definitely take your money elsewhere I’m honestly surprised I didn’t get covid from going but I’m sure lots of other people did. Concept is great but bad organization I would not recommend unless they decide to rent a much larger space.
