Peach's Tailoring

I had ripped the seam of my suit pants, and needed a place that could hem them quickly. I checked with others offering tailoring and alterations within the area, and balked at the prices I was given for what seemed to me a relatively simple fix though I do not know much about sewing, and may not have communicated what I was needing correctly. Refusing to accept the prices I was being quoted, I continued to check with other locations until I stumbled upon this one, and I'm certainly glad I did. The location was a bit hard to find I noticed a sign by the road indicating that it was somewhere within the plaza, but I didn't notice anything indicating which door within the plaza; however, the tailoring itself was expedient and flawless. I was incredibly pleased with the result, and the seam has continued to hold up nicely since.

NOTE: the previous location at the Darlington apartment on Peachtree is closed, but she reopened at 800 Miami Circle,Suite 220 I've gone to this lady for a long time and have given her countless garments to repair and tailor. She's always done a wonderful job, even on complex jobs! The prices are extremely fair and she has a rather quick turnaround time. I have even gotten her to basically remake whole dresses for me. She has a keen eye for detail and is great at knowing just what to do to make any of my clothes fit like a glove. I highly recommend her to all of my friends.

I bring all my clothes here for adjustments. A great eye for details AND inexpensive? Yes please. She tailored my wedding dress and made it fit perfectly. I just brought in a boxy dress I'd bought for the great embroidery. She figured out how to recreate the dress so it fits great - adding darts, reshaping the silhouette to follow the lines of my body, and recutting the armholes so they fit - and all for $41. I wouldn't bother going anywhere else.

I have had two very positive experiences here. The first time I needed measurements for an outfit getting custom made elsewhere, which she did quickly and accurately -- it fit like a glove. The second time she hemmed three pairs of pants for a reasonable price within a few days. I will be coming back and strongly recommend her.

I needed to get some suit pants hemmed, waist taken in, & pants slimmed down so I decided to bring it to Peach's Tailoring because of it's proximity to Midtown and excellent Yelp reviews. You'll want to turn into the Darlington Apartments which is 1 block south of Peachtree Valley and park in the Darlinton Apt parking lot out front. + Turnaround Time: 5/5 I came in on a Friday right before close and at first glance, it's a tiny and unimpressive looking shop with a single mirror on the wall. However, the owner is a very nice lady and walks you through the typical steps and makes recommendations. After all was said and done, she told me it would be ready by Tuesday. I'm used to seeing a turnaround time of at least one week for any other tailor so I said "okay, so in two weeks? Should be fine!" And to my surprise, she said "No! This upcoming Tuesday!" That is FAST! + Quality of Work: 4/5 First thought? NAILED IT! The work was excellent, the pants were hemmed with a half break, waist fit just right, and pants slimmed as requested - it needed zero adjustments. The only thing I didn't like was the waist was taken down and the extra cloth on the interior band wasn't tucked/hidden as other tailors have done. Not visible when worn but a minor detail in workmanship. + Overall: 5/5 For quality work and fast turnaround time, all at an affordable price? This place is a winner in my books

This place is great. The lady is so sweet and my clothes always fit perfectly! She is moving to 800 Miami circle in a few weeks.

Was told I would be paying $14 for the hemming of one pant and three shirts, then when I went in to pick it up they had lost my order details. I restated what I would like done and when I came back the second time to pick up suddenly it was $46, which is unreasonable, no apology was made. I will not be going back and I recommend you find somewhere else yourself.

Don't believe these reviews and go to yelp itself. I will never step foot in anyone else's store to alter my clothes. The owner is very sincere, honest, and extremely patient.

This place is fantastic; I go everytime I need something altered. She is a very skilled tailor who can translate my inarticulate suggestions into a perfectly tailored suit.
