This is the bike store for me! Friendly and knowledgeable guys who love bikes period. You can buy rad stuff, get your gear tuned or just hang and chat. They have a good selection of bikes, both MTB, road, and even kids. If they don’t have it in store they will help you find what you need to shred and order it. Earl and Chandler get the job done every time! Personable service is a lost art, but they have managed to nab it!
Getting repairs at Westside was a great experience, front to back! Friendly and helpful. I walked in on Sunday and told them I needed it by the following weekend. The part they ordered didn't work out wasn't going to be there in time, so they placed a different order with overnight shipping, which didn't affect the cost on my end! My decades-old bike feels brand new. I will definitely be returning to Westside whenever I need repairs or a tune-up.
I got my Bianchi commuter bike tuned up and serviced here. The staff were able to easily identify the issues and work that needed to be done. When I got the bike back it was running much more smoothly, but there was one small issue which you wouldn't notice until you get up to high speed in the highest gear. So I went back to the shop, and they took care of it on the spot and didn't charge me any more for labor, only for the part. Now riding the bike feels like new. Good work, and friendly service. I have also gotten a few small accessories here. My only complaint is I wanted a less expensive option for a helmet. But I'll most likely be back.
Chandler was helpful and very knowledgeable. He had my bike fixed in forty-five minutes or less. He text messaged me to let me know that it was ready, and provided exemplary customer service. The other guy who worked there was just as knowledgeable and helpful. I recommend this location to anyone who needs their bike fixed or wants a bike.
I recently purchased my bike from Westside Bike. The staff was knowledgeable and very helpful. on the type of bike to meet my needs. Prices vary, but they have a decent selection of bikes and price ranges. They even helped with the installation of my bike rack in order for me to transport my bike home. I will be back to retail and bike maintenance.
So I feel bad writing this review because the guys who work here are nice guys. But the first time I went here, I bought a bike and it never came. They reordered it and it also never came... so I was out of a bike for the first month I lived in Atlanta. So I told them to cancel it and went to a bike shop across town and they got me on a bike that day. My second experience here has been getting 4 flat tires because they neglected to find a piece of glass in my tire. 2 of these times they attempted to charge me and sell me an expensive tire despite the problem obviously being that they never removed the glass. In addition to this the brakes were far too tight and my wheel was unable to spin freely. They are nice and I am sure other people have had good experiences, I wish I could have had a better experience because they are so close to my work place.
Took my bike here for a maintenance tune-up and got great service. The guys there are really nice & helpful. Took my bike in again for what I thought was a huge deal and they fixed it on the spot - no charge. Will continue business there from now on!
Great customer service. The staff is super knowledgeable and willing to help as much as possible. Prices are what to be expected from a good bike shop. The n64 while you wait is a major plus.
I am and have been an avid cyclist for years. I was excited to see your shop on the west side of town. I came in on Friday afternoon to buy not look but buy a road bike for my teenage son. I feel strongly about supporting local bicycle shops. I walked in the door at 2:15p and looked at several bikes. There were two people behind the counter. One was helping a customer but the other was not. I was never greeted, spoken to, or even acknowledged. I left the store at 2:27p. I get it if you are busy but the store was empty. Just say 'hi and be with you in a minute', something. I got in my car and drove a few miles up the road to another shop, was immediately greeted and bought a bike. You have one chance to make a first impression. Yours was unprofessional and disappointing.
I have brought bikes in several times and am satisfied wit the results. These guys are friendly and have been able to turnaround bike repairs quickly. A great bike repair shop and dealer in Midtown atlanta.
