Pearlz Oyster Bar

Good place for affordable happy hour oysters, peel-and-eat shrimp, and drinks in a nice casual ambiance. They have good oysters from James River but also from a number of different locations (MA, BC, WA). Other places carry the same oysters with a fancier mignonette at higher prices. Had the fish and chips last time also - big cuts of flavorful cod but breading was a bit thick on the fish which wasn’t my favorite.

Steamed Oysters were amazing. My fiance ordered the tuna burger. And loved it!!! Our waitress opened my oysters for me, she was amazing. Customer service there is great. We will be going back there soon.

Really, really good food! I had one each of the tacos ( fried oyster, fried shrimp, and grilled mahi) Hard to say which wad more delicious! We sat inside at the window seating. Perfect for people watching. House sangria was very good, also. Oysters awesome! Service great! Will go back for sure!

Excellent food, service, and atmosphere. Our waiter, Jack, was great. He made sure we had a great experience, went out of his way to make sure we were ordering what we were paying for, and even gave me first aid when I cut my hand on a lobster claw. 6/5 stars.

Great place, always worth the wait! Fantastic drink specials and yummy oysters, plus the staff is awesome. Sat at the bar, love how they give you info about the oysters they have that day.
