Pemberton Farms & Garden Center

I sent the Diva Centerpiece to my parents for their anniversary. I've included a screenshot of my mother's reaction. This is the third gift basket I've sent from Pemberton Farms, and they never disappoint. They are fast. Their prices are amazing. They will work with you to swap out or customize items I've upgraded wine to champagne previously. The items in the baskets are assembled and presented beautifully, the items are high quality, and there is always more than I expect. I am blown away by how much this they fit into this one! I'm live in Florida with most of my family and friends still in Massachusetts. Pemberton Farms is my favorite source in MA for local gifts - so much nicer and more thoughtful than just sending flowers and also a great last minute idea!

It's a bit pricey épicerie or at least in the eyes of an European. However it's full of great goods, awesome wine and very nice employees. It provides with want you'd expect in a place like this. Definitely a great place!

Great place for wide variety of healthy foods and spirits. Nice selection of meats, cheeses, and wine. Friendly and kind staff. They make the best ham & cheese croissants in their bakery section. Produce could be fresher, but no complains otherwise!

Visiting from Northern California and ended up shopping here every day during our stay. Hands down best breakfast sandwiches we've ever had. They have a very interesting wine and beer selection very nice guy named John runs that and apparently have tastings on Friday evenings. All of the personnel who work there were extremely friendly and helpful. As far as being a general grocery store, you can get most of what you want with a few caveats: meat section small and overpriced and canned goods section not extensive.

So this is a great find. A more pricey than a Star Market but that's what you expect from a place such as this. But it definitely delivered on expectations. With a lovely range of all sorts of things, and their fresh deli section was amazing.

Since Pemberton enlarged and renovated it's grocery, I no longer go to Whole Foods. The produce is good quality and variety with lots of interesting canned/jar speciality foods from different cuisines, a wine shop, cheese section and all the usual grocery needs, but also unusual offerings like preserved lemons and other Middle Eastern items. The shelves are packed like a NYC bodega!

Quality and selection of groceries are top notch. They also have great liquor and garden sections. The food is a bit pricey but worth it to me.

Delivery: The chicken salad sandwich was completely devoid of cranberries and walnuts and actually smelled like tuna salad. The consistency was whipped. Unsettling. It didn’t taste like tuna and wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t how it was ordered either and very bland. The Davis sandwich bread was very good but the sandwich ingredients had almost no flavor. It was ordered with sun dried tomato mayonnaise but either it wasn’t added or it lacked taste. Everything ordered was just bland. It was disappointing. I’m not ready to rule the place out though. I’d give it another try. I’ve heard dining there in person is extremely good. This may have just been a fluke.

The best grocery store in Cambridge / Somerville! And it's one of the rare places that also has a beer / wine / liquor section in the grocery. Don't miss the little case of Sophia's Greek yogurt over by the hummus & guac.

I went to Pemberton farm to get a Christmas tree but was throughly surprised when the staff rushed to me and was eager to help. His name was dagum and he asked what height I wanted and what kind of tree I was intrested in. Overall I love this farm, great staff and it is amazing for a family outing for lunch and some fun.
