Just fyi, this meal with one piece of French toast two bacon eggs and this little sausage thing cost me $8… it’s so greasy my stomach is hurting. With $8 I could have bought enough food to make this for the week. You cannot return the food so I was stuck with it. VERY disappointed at the cost for the quality. Amazon bought this company and they laugh at us consumers with terrible quality products being sold for more. I WILL NEVER STEP ANOTHER FOOT IN THIS ESTABLISHMENT.
This review is purely for the check out process of the store. Simply put, this is the single worst grocery store I ever experienced in terms of check-out process. Most of the lanes are close for most of the time. When you do find an open lane, it will be painfully slow. Most of the cashiers will be like first day on job without proper training. Seriously, most untrained, unprofessional cashiers in any store. They would go through their list and try to find product code of common items, they have to ask their co-worker in the next station for help after their failed searching. And you have to watch closely to remind them any mistakes, because they never check and they do make a lot of mistakes. They can charge you a "large soup of the day" when you have purchased only four items from the produce department. When you do notice the mistake and ask about it, you would be blandly told to go to the customer service to get refund, even though it was their mistake and you were still with the cashier. Never apologetic. There you go, if you want to get your own money back, go wait in another line. They also limit the number of items in case you want to avoid these incompetent cashiers and use the self-checkout lanes. How great! I have to go to this store often as it is closest to where I live. But I would avoid it in anyway possible and go to the Trader Joe's across the street.
Hands down to the best grocery store in entire Massachusetts. Best fresh salmon and I gotta tell you I am super picky about salmon. Both their unflavored and also Mediterranean flavored salmons are awesome. Here’s a baked salmon food I created with the Mediterranean salmons I bought from them. Compared to other wholefood branches this one is quite much larger and close to other stores which makes it really convenient. I also really really love their roasted turkey breast sandwiches and usually get one of those and a fresh orange juice when I bike by the Fresh Pond. Accessible by bike and walking and close to many trails. A must stop for biking. I only wish they move to Chobani oat milk as they don’t have it yet.
Nice inside but beware of a guy claiming to be homeless...he will be trying to scam u into helping him buy a coat...he will also be wearing a winter coat and hat on this 75 degree day. Be aware. Do not give him anything. It's the latest in the scam game. The store needs to do something.
Best of the local markets. Good vegetables, meat and baked goods. Good selection and fresh. Best to go non-prime hours to avoid crowds. Nice hot food section as well. Friendly staff and a clean store.
Honestly I liked this location a lot, but multiple times recently I have gone there for a sale item whole chickens twice and other items other times and they are out of stock. I would be OK coming back later, but they no longer offer rain checks and there is no real recourse. My hunch is that they don't plan ahead for how much to purchase and it's frustrating to bike across town and be told there isn't enough of a product when it's still listed in their app's advertisement for that location. Whole Foods is a huge chain -- they should be able to offer sales at just some locations for a particular item if there are supply issues and they should be able to plan ahead for how much of an item to buy. They could also update their app if an item is out of stock for a location. They could also offer some kind of recourse or rain check for situations when it's just out of stock. I hope their policies change!
Plenty of parking and polite staff. Decent size and a lot of products. I also use it for Amazon drop off when returning things as it’s super easy and convenient.
Store always busy. Parking lot very busy. Selection has decreased in recent years. This isn't a supply problem. The store now appears to carry what makes the most money, when it used to provide a much broader selection of goods.
Great WFM with a big selection and friendly management and very well staffed. Point off compared to other local WFMs because I’d prefer Woburn Lynnfield Ink Block or even River Street because this one is always crowded, the lines get looooong, and getting in and out of the parking lot isn’t the most convenient with the rotaries and the busyness of the strip mall.
Good produce. They call it Whole paycheck for a reason. Convenient for Amazon returns
