Peoples Autism Foundation provides support for children and their families who are affected by Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD.)

Mission

It is the mission of Peoples Autism Foundation to alleviate the challenges and expenses endured by caregivers and educators who work for the benefit of children and adults on the Autism Spectrum, to the end that such disabilities shall not unduly hinder the opportunities necessary for them to live rich and meaningful lives in their communities, to develop the capacity to earn a living wage, and to live independently in the least restrictive environment possible.

Our founders goal is to help parents navigate the responsibilities and needs they face in raising and coping with the additional stress of raising a autistic child. Having raised an Autisic child, our founders know the struggles and issues first hand and are here to help.

With your help today, a child and their family can lead a more active and productive life. We feel that not only do autistic children need love and support, so do the strong members of the family. Here at People Autism, we not only focus on the child, but also their family through support and care. Working with families of Autistic children we have learned that every aspect of their lives is affected by this and we are here to help with counseling, clothing, child care and community resources such as support groups and family doctors.

Products

Peoples Autism Foundation is able to provide early detection screenings as recommended by the American Medical Association and the American Pediatric Academy at no cost to Nevada Families.

Peoples Autism Foundation also provides families with a respite program to offer a needed break in order to relieve anxiety, restore energy and promote balance of the family unit at no cost to Nevada families in need.
