Mesta Park Christmas tour. It’s a tradition to go, and I think I’ve missed 1 in over 10 years because of the weather (ice!) Beautiful homes, staged for viewing and glittery with holiday decorations. I confess I miss the horse drawn wagon from past years to get to the different houses, and would like to see better route markers to go from house to house, but overall it is a fabulous experience I recommend to anyone who loves old houses - and sometimes, a new one. Loved the food trucks at the park this year!

Beautiful Park located in midtown OKC. Has swings, a play ground, picnic tables and a covered gazebo. Great place for play groups or to just get a little sunshine.

This park is dedicated to the memory of pearl mesta, the hostess with the mostest as she was popularly known. She hosted everybody who is anybody in her time. She knew everybody, and everybody knew her. This part doesn't have all the amenities you might expect to find at other parks, but finding a quiet green place in downtown Oklahoma City is a treasure.
