Petco Animal Supplies

Everyone is always so friendly and make sure you find what you need. They all have great knowledge on pets and if they don't know they answer they will consult with someone to make sure I have the correct information. I take my puppy there for training and Sierra is an amazing trainer, she is very patience and fun! She makes sure my puppy and I are comfortable doing each new trick she teaches that week. Definitely recommend her as a trainer. They also have veterinarians come every Tuesday from 6pm-8pm and every Saturday from 9am-12pm to give the doggies their shots. They are very affordable compared to the vets around this neighborhood. Lastly their puppy play time (which is only for puppies with their vacciences and until 6 months old) is fantastic. All of the puppies have a chance to get friendly and us the parents watch to s we how it goes. It's also free and very helpful for them since they have to get use to other doggies.

Made a stop here to pick up a few supplies for a fish tank I work on for a school. Staff was friendly and asked if I needed help or need any to please let them know so they can help because that's what they're there for. It's not often that staff helps in that manner. They have a nice large store with a variety to choose from. I asked one question and the sales person wasn't sure but said, they'll get me someone who can and they did. They have fresh water fish, salt water fish, dogs and cat supplies. A few rodents for pets and reptiles as well. I would recommend this location.

I go to Petco constantly for my dog and cats. I would give 5 stars but it is pretty expensive. You can definitely by better prices online. I do like their treats bar and the staff is VERY friendly and somewhat knowledgeable. They always want to help. Its great.

Large store with convenient parking structure. Very organized and the staff is friendly. Nice selection of fish not a large selection of birds. Has interesting reptiles. My favorites are the fresh bakes doggie cookies on the front cart.

Came here (Jackson Heights Location) to get my dog groomed and I was already expecting a hefty price for it. It's usually $65 for my dog, but a lady at the grooming services came out her office to tell me she can't groom my dog unless I get her undercoat removed, which would cost another $25-- and all of it somehow turned out to be $110. My dog isn't that big, and she sure didn't have a thick undercoat like they claimed. I've been to this location for grooming and it's always a different story to get money out. I couldn't say no, my dog needed to be groomed. Absolutely ridiculous. I'm never bringing back my dog here for grooming services. Some cashiers are friendly, which is nice. There's always one spot in the store that always smells like pee. And they never have rainboots or flea shampoo for dogs available. I mean, whatever. It's the closest Petco near me. It'll do. But my preferred Petco is the one at Union Square.
