Petco Animal Supplies

Have been going here for over three years for simple grooming {short hair dog/bath/nails} and will not return. I scheduled a 3:00 appointment and when I arrived it seemed overly busy [4 dogs]. I asked if I should reschedule and was told no and services will take about an hour and a half (which is typical). I left and waited for a text/call. After about 1 hr 45 minutes I did not receive a call so I just returned. I received my dog and was told "It typically takes about two hours but the reason I was done in 45 minutes was because he was so good". I was puzzled at first and started to leave. By the time I reached the register, it dawned on me that her comment meant my dog sat in a kennel for an hour before she began grooming him. I went back to speak to her supervisor and instead got her. First she tried to explain away by telling me he was only in the kennel for ten minutes to dry and to request "zoom groom" next time {which I was also told they don't use the kennel to dry and they no longer existed} and again I confronted her, saying my concern had not been with the "dryer" but the fact she said she groomed him in 45 minutes. I told her we arrived at 3:00 and she then said "It was busy and I looked at the clock wrong". Well, I didn't buy any of her confusing mixed up story. I am positive my dog sat in a kennel for 1 hour before she ever touched him at 4:00 and I never got a text/call that he was done. I left and bought a shedding brush and he is still full of fur. Now I don't even believe he was brushed. {He is very short hair} Never returning. Your current groomers need serious training.

Good selection just like all the Petcos, but not as shopper friendly. Went for vaccinations, did not wait the hour and a half they predicted. Will pay the extra $10 I was going to save to my vet.

If you have any questions on fish ask for Dave, the guy has all the answers. Other then that pretty standard petco

The people that work there are very helpful. Clean and pet friendly. Love it.

I used to go there all the time but I really don't want to anymore because of an employee they recently hired, she is rude and thinks she knows it all. Shes berated me multiple times about animal care and spouted a bunch of incorrect info at me, I'm no expert but she was extremely rude. I didn't even ask for help or info, I was simply looking around and she happened to see me looking at the reptiles.
