Helped me buy my first pet and helped me with finding out all the needs he'd have while growing as he's still young. Also gave me information to take and read when I got home as I am a bit clueless about birds. Wonderful service, speed was amazing, in and out even with the adoption paperwork and the cleanliness of the bird exhibit and the store was phenomenal!
Terrible customer service - I have waited a few days to make this review so I could decide if a bad review was really the way I want to go. Most of the time I let things go and take bad customer service with a grain of salt, especially now days, but this really got under my skin. My daughter and I stopped at the 13660 West Maple Rd location in Omaha, NE on 10/19/22 to get some ghost shrimp. It was about 20 minutes to close and I was very well aware of it. We checked the tanks to see if they had ghost shrimp before looking for an employee to help us. The tanks were in pretty bad shape with most of them covered in algae. We did find a few ghost shrimp, so my daughter went to ask for assistance. She was met with a very rude response from the employee she asked. The employee told her the fish department was closed because the store was closing. I came around the corner to see what was going on and to show the employee it wasn't just my daughter asking, that I was there, and we were really wanting to make a purchase. We knew what we needed. It was more than 15 minutes before closing and this employee just kept walking away loudly proclaiming they couldn't help with the fish because the store was closing. She said this about 4 times. I am not sure what the store policy is about selling fish before closing and if it had been communicated in a calm and respectful way I don't think I would be so irritated by not getting helped. The way the employee reacted was uncalled for. Selling items to customers is the purpose of a retail business and I can definitely say I will never visit this location again. This location's employee's could use some guidance on how to properly care for the tanks and have better customer service skills.
I love Petco they are fantastic .if you are looking for a loving place that you can bring your pets to then STOP!!! You have found it. You and your pet are treated like family and the love you can find it here. I give 5 stars .
We have a rescue dog that is very shy, and the staff took some time to help encourage and give treats. They also helped answer questions and find products so we didn't have to stay in the store long and could return outside where my dog is more comfortable. Great experience!
Amazing. Got my red eyed cute lil hamster there and he was so kind he would lick me and cuddle. He looked like a burnt marshmallow with red eyes. Rip Petey boy
We love all the employees, but a young, dark haired man, named Chris at 136th and Maple location, has helped us more than everyone combined. He is knowledgeable and super friendly! We love that we get a $5 coupon off purchase for every $100 we spend with their Petco Pals card, we were going to spend it anyway so, it's free money, always a good thing! We make our own dog food, but are able to get 100% organic chicken jerkey for dog treats and we also buy everything else including lots of toys for our dogs, food and treats for our cat and toys, food and extras for our rabbit.
They have friendly employees, quick service, and they did a great job! They went above and beyond to give my puppy the cut that I asked for even though that's not what they typically do since it was her very first haircut. They did a great job! I hadn't planned on going to that location again because it isn't close to my house, however they did such a great job I'll be booking my next appointment with them. It was also very convenient to book the appointment online because I didn't have time to call around to a bunch of different places. Their prices are cheaper than several other places I looked at online. Overall it was an excellent experience!
They're fish tanks for gross. Employees were rude.. no one knew anything about the animals. We was going to get a hamster but that lady was scared of it. But them told u that hamster with a eye infection they put drops in it..
The store consistently closes early. It's really frustrating when the store hours on the door state one thing and you cannot expect that.
We went to buy a fish and all the supplies. Great service by their staff. Very informative and helpful.
