A lesser known, honestly old school Austin gem of a dive-restaurant. Don't come here if you want shiny chrome furniture that's scrubbed thrice daily and glassy eyed teens and college kids serving you. That ain't this place. Come here if you want real, good, authentic, awesome food. And drinks. Served up and served right. And a place where the owner genuinely deserves your money and patronage!

No hookah available! :-( But food is lovely. Felt like it was a little bit of lying by the waiter who kept trying to convince us that the hookah would maybe be available all night. This is not cool. Just say it's not actually available tonight, and we can still enjoy the great food and then move along afterward. The ambience is great. Outdoor seating is great. Food is yummy.

Consistently disappointed. Been here 3 times and the first time was just perfect. Food was cooked well and great service for an avg. $18 plate. Last 2 times service was horrible and food was disappointing. Meat over cooked, very long service. Felt forgotten. Ordered the same meal all 3 times and it was inconsistent and incomplete. Gave it 3 tries and don’t think I’ll be back😔.

Perfect atmosphere, decent food (albeit a bit overpriced). My hugest complaint was the waiter took waaaay too long to get out our food and he got our orders all mixed up. Why didn't he have a helper? Why did it take him an hour to get our checks out? There were a lot of mistakes he made and it really ruined the vibe. Otherwise a great experience, especially the music and belly dancing.

Great place to bring the family, including children, and watch the Belly Dancers. Yesterday was quite special as Janete Mahaila danced with Alessandra and both were beautiful to watch. The food was also quite good. You get to bring your own wine and enjoy the whole atmosphere. Probably one of the few authentic places left in Austin.
