We found this store after a friend recommended. We wanted some very specific west African stuff and we couldn’t find it anywhere else but found it here. As soon as we entered the guy at the shop walked over and was eager to help. There was a particular item we were looking for that was not available but then he took a picture and assured us that he would get that next week. Hence he seemed very resourceful. They carry oriental, info-Chinese, Filipino, Indian, middle eastern, and west African retail and wholesale stuff. They have 10 parking spots in the back.
Great place for authentic Filipino food products. Safe parking alongside the building is also available. Prices are quite affordable and I was able to get the items I needed. They also ship the balakbayan probably misspelled it boxes here. Bonus there is a Filipino food trucked Parked outside on weekends. Get the halo halo!! I would definitely recommend and revisit
The WORSE PLACE WITH RUDE STAFF! I ordered something simple but was not communicated how long it would take. I asked how much longer it would take for the bbq since I’ve been waiting for 45 minutes. Instead of apologizing, the lady cook with frizzy black hair continued to walk off as if I’m bothering her and informed the cashier to refund. If you’re going to take orders, set expectations on how long it will be. Never will I come back. I will not support an establishment with rude staff with no customer service.
Good place to find filipino goods! Also they have some products from the Philippines that are for beauty.
RUDE staff. They refused to talk with us and even to acknowledge us. My wife and I tried repeatedly to speak with them. To my face, they just stared, no smile, no response. Just flat out rude. We heard them speaking Tagalog to others. We spoke Tagalog to them. No response. Just rude. Maybe they dislike us as my wife and I are a mixed couple. Also the food had a stale warehouse flavor in every product we purchased. Disappointing to say the least.
It's like being back home! This storencarries all the Filipino treats you could ever need for reasonable prices.
My fave store by far! Its a home away from home feels! Thank you so much for bringing the filipino side here in MN!
Very poor customer service. The workers are are extremely Ill-mannered towards customers and disrespectful. The place looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in many years and some of the stuff is way over priced. The only good thing I can say about this store is that the food smells good, but someone said they saw spit flying out of the workers mouth onto the food. I would recommend going some where else than coming here and being disrespected as a customer.
When I walk in the door I feel no welcomed. They treat their customers with disrespect and that’s what really pushed me out the door. I rarely come here because I don’t want to support a business where I don’t feel welcomed when I walk through the door. One positive thing I could say is the food smells alright but otherwise I would not recommend coming here. Try to find somewhere else!
