The food was good overall, but it was a bit messy. I know what you must think, a cheesesteak is supposed to be messy. However, I had more lettuce and tomatoes on top of the sandwhich versus inside the sandwhich. Meat was very juicy, so I'd strongly suggest having napkins on stand-by. I added my own sauce, since theirs comes without any. There were onion, but no peppers and I found that their cheesesteak could have had a bit more flavor overall. The mozzarella sticks were nice and crispy, but the one tiny container of marinara was nowhere near enough for the 5-6 sticks you get. I would ask for like 2-3 marinara sauces next time. In all, if you can't or won't make the drive out to Philly for a genuine cheesesteak with the works..this place will do as a reasonable substitute.
My family and I have to stop here after sporting events! Pete and the rest of the guys are always friendly and ready to serve! We be tryna get 1 of some of everything they have!!! Cheese Steaks, Chicken Hoagies, Pizza! Nice little spot to sit outside and enjoy your meal during the Spring & Summer!
This is one of the whole in the wall places, where you would look at it and think it served poor quality food. The food is WONDERFUL!! I have introduced this place to numerous friends and family, they love the food as well. I have had the cheese steak numerous times. This is one of the few places I can eat. I've had the wings also, which were good. The service is not always friendly Swing through if you have an urge for a steak and cheese!!
The entire order was a waste of $15. I ordered 6 wings and an order of onion rings. Simple right? Apparently not! The wings were burnt and the onion rings were oily with no flavor. Also, the staff seemed annoyed when I asked questions about the menu. If I could give the customer service and the food quality a ZERO star rating I would.
Unprofessional and rude staff. I will never go there again. In every restaurant there is a line for order and there is another line for pickup. I went there to pick up food, and there was no one in pickup line and there was only one customer in order line. When I showed the staff the order, instead of bringing the order he started complaining that I am skipping the line. The young teen that was ordering the food when he saw the situation started cursing me bad word. I did not skip the line because I was not ordering any food. The pickup in every restaurant has a separate line and is fast. They offended me, and the young customer that did not know the rule cursed me. The staff is not professional. Instead of doing their job and talking to people respectfully they start giving lectures to customers and talking fast with and English accent that not everybody understand.
I grew up in philly and moved to arlington about a year and a half ago and I have been dying to find a good quality cheesesteak in the area ever since. When I found this place and saw cheese wiz on the menu I knew I had to try it out. I ordered a chicken cheesesteak and cheese fries and I was not disappointed!! The meal was perfected by the cheese wiz and AMAROSO ROLLS! Will definitely be ordering again :
I had hoped this would be a hidden gem, one of those places that looked like a dump but made amazing food. But the "steak" was really hamburger. It was good hamburger, I just didnt order a hamburger.Food: 2/5
It’s well cooked, plenty of meat but who the hell put Italian seasoning on the meat?! Lacking in cheese and I’m one that says easy on the cheese. The bread is good but it’s a love or hate it relationship, fell apart. I would’ve given this 4 stars but I’m not a fan of the Italian seasoning
I’ve tried their subs twice now. The quality of the hoagies is fine. It’s nothing close to the title of the restaurant in my opinion. I also like my hoagies simple-meat and sautéed/grilled veggies. The size of the sandwich isn’t big and majority of the add ons are an additional fee.Takeout: Yes
This place was not good at all I got a bacon and ham cheesesteak and fries. My fries had a staple in them and my cheesesteak barley had any cheese and the steak tasted so funny. I Even let my friend try and she said that same thing. I will not visit again !
