Where to start... I came in for cornrows with no appointment and luckily, I was able to get seated then are there first pro which was great! To my own fault, I knew I wanted cornrows, but I wasn't 100% sure if I wanted it just with my own hair or with extensions. The lady who assisted me was nice enough to let me ponder on my own decision to which I decided upon black extensions second pro before she got started! With that said, I showed her a couple photos, some from their own website, on the specific kind of styling I wanted and let's just say, I did not get that first downfall or anything near it. The braiding itself was too too tight second downfall, especially for those with sensitive scalps, it was too much! I told her a couple times to be a little gentle and she did but overall, it could've gone better from start to end. After I was done, I had a ton of product buildup, some of which is still on my head and not attractive third downfall. Overall, the style from a far is cute but up close, you can see the flaws. Luckily, I just need this style for a short while so it will do but will I be going back, probably not. Was the price good $75 for 6 cornrows with extensions absolutely. With that said, you might not be getting what you wish for.Services: Hairstyling

Absolutely lovely experience here, on 8/25… I got extremely long small knotless braids and DeeDee did a beautiful job. No stopping, All the way through 7hrs. She was gentle and patient. I didn’t feel rushed, she was friendly and I truly love my hair. Wonderful salon, all of the ladies are kind and funny and I highly recommend this salon and especially DeeDee for your “Simply Natural Hair Braiding” Needs.

DO NOT GO HERE. Worst hair salon in DC. I have thick 4C hair, and they do not know how to blow dry it. This happened to me twice. Both times they did not even have a blow dryer with the comb attachment. I told the owner about this, and she asked why I didn't come to the salon washed and blow dried beforehand? To a salon.... She asked me to come to a salon washed and blow dried BEFOREHAND... what is the point of going to the salon then? Absolutely terrible service and the ladies who work here are all very rude and have no professionalism whatsoever. The man who co-owns the shop is extremely rude and narcissistic and when I explained to him the situation, he basically said that he did not care and that I could go somewhere else if I didn't like it, and then boasted that they have been in business for 20 years... which is hard to believe considering the lack of care for their clients. On top of that, their prices are very high and do not match their quality of work. They are unskilled, lazy, and just down right unprofessional. AVOID THIS SALON AT ALL COSTS.

I have been here twice now. Once for small knotless braids and the second time for a retouch of the knotless braids. I was very clear about the size I wanted and when they told me the price I thought it was fair. Both times Chantal and Flora did a great job.Service: Braids

I go here to get my braids taken out sometimes. The prices are not consistent. It goes on how the owner feels about you and your hair. Get a solid quote beforehand and hold her to it. The business hours are based on how many clients that day and is not the same as the listed hours in Google. This is a poor business practice. It resulted in me showing up on Sunday at 10am and the business was dark and closed.

I asked for short medium knotlessbraids with curly ends. The lady that did my haircouldnt find any rollers soshe used string. It was very unappealing. My braids were unraveling and my natural hair was not tucked. It was an amateur job Myroots looked rough and messy. I went back the next day sosome hair can be braided down to the end and curledwith rollers instead of string. Alot ofmybraids wouldn't even curl. My hair looked raggedy I took it out by the weekend because it looked that bad i didnt even take any pictures
