Pho Saigon

Called in to go on a Friday evening. When the hostess answered I wasn't sure what I wanted, but said "something sweet and spicy" please. Instead of asking me to order from the menu, she said she knew just the thing. She then proceeded to ask rice or noodles and on a scale of 0-5 how spicy. I said 4 and ordered shrimp as the meat. My point is, she took the time to make a meal for me despite my nievety with Vietnamese food. When I went for pick up, (about 10 minutes later) the hostess was extremely friendly and offered hoisin sauce for more sweetness. Let me tell you to my delight this was one of the best things I've ever eaten. The shrimp was spicy enough to satisfy me with a nice salad to cleanse my palate. Additionally, the noodles were perfect and not drenched in the sauce. There are very few restaurants these days that allow you to create off the menu on a Friday night, and this was extremely satisfying. Will definitely order again.

The service, food, and everything else about Pho Saigon is and always has been great. After my first visit the owner recognized me and still continues to do so. The environment and friendliness of the staff is awesome. I will keep eating here as long as I can.
