South Vietnam House

We found this restaurant while looking for Vietnamese food on our way to DE from NC in the Fredericksburg area. They have excellent and flavorful food, very friendly hosts, quick service, clean and cozy place. Highly recommended!

Food is ok. Staff is a bit rude. I called in an order. I asked for 2 regular sized Pho Ga (chicken). When I arrived to pickup my order, there was construction going on in the entryway. It looked like they were working on the fountain. I walked inside to find my order placed on a table out in the middle of the empty dining room, completely unattended. I saw how big the soup was and asked how many does one serve. I was told 2 people by an Asian woman who appeared to be one of the owners or a manager. When I told her that I only needed 1 soup, she said well, we only do large. Then she became rude and quickly opened the bag, pulled out one of the soups and said something in another language to a woman was serving tables. Then she laughed and rung me up. Place was not that clean either. This, coupled with the service and rudeness I received, is why they get 2 stars from me. Stick with Pho Saigon.

My wife and I love eating here. Many varieties and always fresh. Very happy.

I love going here. food is great never had a complaint although the customer service could be a little bit better i give this place all 5 stars.

Awful service, it’s almost embarrassing watching people wait at the door for so long. Tables sit dirty for extended periods of time. The table of 6 next to us waited forever just to get drinks! The establishment is nice though, the food was good. I don’t recommend coming to this place if you’re in a hurry, luckily we have time to kill so we’re just hanging out. She should probably hire some more help. A hostess and another waitress would solve all their problems
