Despite the look of the restaurant, the food here is very authentic. The pho is really good. The beef noodle may be a bit spicy for non-Asians. Also, there are plenty of good dishes on the menu. One of the best Vietnamese restaurants in Memphis. Just wish they stayed open later.
1st and last time. The waiter was so in a rush when he barley could understand what we was ordering. He seemed like he just wanted us gone. The pho was ok for my 1st time trying it. But the service sucks. I ordered a lot bc I wanted to taste everything and the server was not going. He brought out what ever was the easiest to him. So we only ended up with PHO.
ordered chicken with salt and jalapeño from the stir fry section. i liked it. 15 dollars little heavy but i guess inflation pandemic prices
Ignore the bad reviews. Please! This place is more authentic than anywhere else in Memphis. The atmosphere is perfectly traditional, everything you’re looking for in a pho experience. The service was great, he didn’t hover or leave us out to dry. Try this spot for traditional and delicious pho! *first spot in Memphis that has chili paste*
This was a great find. Service is nothing special. Just straight to the point of "What do you want? Here's your food. Eat. Enjoy. Now leave." This is one of the best Bahn Mi sandwiches ibe ever had. The bread was perfect. The Pho with eye of round and brisket... absolutely delicious.
We ordered the Thai Hot pot and nuoc mam sweet fish sauce fried wings. The thai hot pot was good in flavor, nice balance of spicy, sweet and sour. I just didn't like that the seafood and meats were previously frozen. Chicken wings were nicely fried and the sauce was good, my bf thought the sauce was too strong, but that's how Vietnamese people eat our wings. Make sure you check your ticket when getting rung up. They were gonna charge us $2.99 for egg rolls that we cancelled and charged us $1 for extra noodles that we didn't order. They quickly took it off and didn't have an issue with it, just a mistake. I enjoyed my soup and chicken.
Food is great, fresh and made to order. we've had the pho before and is super tasty. This last time we went we both got the lunch specials which come with steamed rice and spring roll or eggrollfried rice is 1.00 extra beware when the waiter/tress asks fried rice or steamed rice they have may items in the menu and they all sound great. Hubs got the curry tofu and I got the curry shrimp, they were delicious. The only downside when going there is that there are many vagabonds/ panhandlers around, shamelessly walking towards and waiting for you to get out of the car so the can approach you. Some of them aggressive.
Authentic Vietnamese food We ordered the grilled pork and egg/spring roll noodle salad and a Bun Bo Hue spicy beef noodle soup and they were both terrific! Full of authentic, fresh, fragrant herbs and flavours. This is highly recommended!
Truly impressed! Everything was great. Fast service. Looks sketchy on the outside, but it was great. Yummy! I was disappointed that they were out of quail. Love it!
Normally the service is good but this last visit was not good at all!!! I had fruit flies in my soup and when it was brought to the server attention they had an attitude over it.. I HOPE the next visit will be more pleasing!!
