I came back to change my 5 star review, they should really hire someone other than their children to wait tables. The food is great but if you unfortunately get served by the owner's children don't expect good service at all. You have to beg to get a refill, remind them over and over to get your order correct as well as being prepared to get ignored. Also I've witnessed family and friends coming from off of the streets, not washing their hand or anything and going behind the counter, I'll be in search of a new spot.

Food was delicious. Crab Rangoon is different. I'm used to fried wontons filled with cream cheese, and crab. Theirs are filled with a mozzarella type cheese and crab. They were still amazing.

Drinks and food are great! Didn't have to wait long for food. Great service. Clean tables and bathroom. Great price!

I come here seldom for dinner and I’m always impressed with their dishes! They are well priced and the quality is great. Well worth the dining experience. I ordered coffee one day and it was one of the best brewed I’ve ever had anywhere else. Not sure what kind it was, but was served in a small porcelain cup and just delicious. Will return again and again.

Best egg rolls and hot and sour soup in town. The Thai curry coconut catfish is sooooo good. There are too many dishes that are delicious to name. Go check out all the great dishes and find your favorites.

Excellent lunch. $8. includes soup, fried rice and a big egg roll. You wouldn't know it from outside, but it's very pretty and clean inside. Worth going, for sure.

The best egg rolls I have ever tasted. Been coming here so long I've seen the kids grow up. Food is always great. I travel from Cordova to midtown for the egg rolls.

Love this place! Been eating there for 12 years! Best customer service from any Restaurant. Tweety is the best! They are like family to us up there. All the servers always have a smile on their face and the food tops any Vietnamese and Thai food around the area!!!

I've been coming here for years and each time has been amazing. They have the best egg rolls Memphis has to offer. Whenever I'm asked about Chinese spots I recommend Shang Hai. Try it! I guarantee you will not be disappointed.

Starting from the beginning our first experience here: We were told our wait time for a to-go order would be 25 mins, turned out to be 45. Food order was correct, and the staff was friendly throughout the process even gave us an absurd amount of duck sauce. I get home and the wraps for the moo shu pork were the store-bought rice paper wrappers you’d buy if you wanted to make your own rolls. As in, they were still tough, inedible, and needed to be soaked in warm water if we wanted to use them as wrappers. We decided to go wrap-less. The fried dumplings we ordered were steamed instead. Other than that, the food was great overall. The fried egg rolls are DOPE. The moo shu pork was tasty, as were the dumplings. The pad thai was okay, seemed like something someone from their home would make, rather than from a restaurant.
