Physio Physical Therapy and Wellness

I am extremely pleased with the results I have seen from my sessions with Katherine and Darren at Physio Physical Therapy. On my first visit, after carefully evaluating my situation and the pain I had been experiencing for several years, Katherine was able to assess the cause and offer a comprehensive plan to address it. She began the treatment right away using the highly effective methods of dry needling, Astym and laser to treat the muscle spasms I was experiencing, and she assessed and corrected the postural imbalance that had been a contributing factor. Within two weeks I had significant relief from the pain and now, after six weeks, I am completely pain free and can continue, on my own, with the stretching and strengthening exercise plan she created for me. Darren, in consultation with Katherine, provided excellent therapeutic massage focused on my specific situation. I found them to be very knowledgeable, highly trained in advanced techniques, and responsive to how I was feeling and to what specific area needed to be treated at each visit. Initially we thought my treatment would take eight weeks, but they told me I was ready to “graduate” after just six weeks and I totally agree. I could not be more pleased.

The first appointment/ session I had, I was greeted at the door and immediately taken care of, welcomed with awesome customer service and help, if needed. My physical therapist and aide, were professional. Rachel was nice and very professional and helped me incredibly. I love going there. I've made friends with the team and I would gladly refer anyone for their care and expertise. I appreciate everyone on staff and I will definitely continue to be a customer or client here at Physio. Thank you.

I was incredibly impressed by the work completed by the staff at Physio. I went there to address an 18 month long injury and they helped me make great progress in less than two months. Every staff member was approachable, knowledgeable, and more than willing to help in any way. The atmosphere is positive and light-hearted. I honestly did not even feel like I was going to physical therapy. I highly recommend Physio!

I have really enjoyed working with Physio so far! Everyone is very kind and my therapist and support staff are knowledgeable. They don’t mind answering my many questions as I seek to learn more about my therapy. Every time I arrive for my session staff ask me how I am and really want to know what’s happening in my life. I highly recommend Physio!

My favorite Physical Therapy facility in Asheville is Physio on Merrimon Avenue. Katherine is wonderful with her patience, kindness and skill. She's very knowledgeable and asks for your input. I'm so pleased to have her as my therapist. The staff is extremely friendly and so professional. I would highly recommend them if you need physical therapy and hope to make great progress!!
