Vespa Brooklyn is phenomenal!! Joe took his time with us as we shopped for my son’s first set of wheels. He was super knowledgeable about the different models, advised my son to take a motorcycle driving safety course, and helped him pair Apple Maps to the bike’s digital screen so he could drive to work straight from the dealership. It was a terrific experience all-around, making a special purchase a pleasurable memory. Thank you Joe and Vespa Brooklyn. We feel fortunate to have you right here in our hometown!
From the moment of purchase with James Butler, to simple walk-in follow up courtesy is to set an appointment, but for the latest and only issue, I was already in the area, I was treated even during lockdown with professionalism, attention to needs and everything was as seamless as any car that I ever purchased. Having two other bikes that I know how to take apart and put back together blindfolded if I had the time lately, it was a leap of faith with my Moto Guzzi v7 Cafe Racer baby that I adore, and that leap landed me square on my feet with the help of Dustin and the team at Vespa Brooklyn. For whatever reason, there was a severe issue with the clutch on my ride, and I brought her in to just ask questions about why it was being grumpy. Greeted warmly and attentively by Dustin from the start, he essentially dropped everything without my even having a set appointment to come out and check my situation. As soon as he mounted and started it, his knowledge and feel of the bike caused him to immediately warn that it was not safe to drive in the state that it was in, and to leave it with him and the team to diagnose. Of course, I sweated buckets internally as it is my only current mode of transport, but I was at ease and felt an instant trust that this could be remedied. Fast-forward through a lot of details, when my bike was repaired, even after the dealership owner had to pull some proverbial strings, I was called to pick up a bike that actually feels BETTER than when I purchased it. Everything was documented, honest and above-board. I still cannot stop verbally singing the praises of this team, and I have decided to take to this platform to put it in writing. Good shop, good work, great people. Hard to find in New York City.
I am very satisfied with my new Piaggio liberty 150. Joe was really helpful with all my questions and he got me transparent out of the door pricing and was never pushy. I didn’t believe him that no one is selling a good used Vespa because people like them so much so I decided to shop around. Every used one I found online was a high mileage beater that people were asking near full price. A motorcycle isn’t like a used car it’s more like a toy and I don’t need a used toy someone is done playing with. A brand new Piaggio Liberty 150 cost me $4,579 out the door and it’s definitely the best purchase I ever made. It’s fast enough for local nyc highways and all the bridges yet tame enough for a beginner. I wish I bought this years ago instead of spending thousands on revel and lime rentals over the years.
Best experience I've had in years of owning cars and bikes. They run this shop very professionally. But they are also thorough and committed to providing the highest level of service. In addition, they always greet you with a smile and we always end up hanging out for a bit talking about the bike, riding in NY, a new coffee shop nearby, and really anything. They are nice people, who are kind and make you feel welcome, and they are also great mechanics and professionals. Buying was easy, maintenance is even easier, and they always try to help us understand budget options and find a workable solution to any issue we've had.
I wouldn't buy another Vespa anywhere else. The process was SO easy and a delight. Andrew, James and the entire staff at Vespa Brooklyn are A+++++, I can't say enough good things about them. I purchase my Vespa virtually and was told it will be ready on Monday at 3PM. I arrived to their showroom at 3PM sharp and was seated with a pen in hand signing the paperwork by 3:03PM...My Vespa was ready to go and I was on the road by 3:30PM. Excellent experience, no sales pressure at all from anyone, everyone there just wants you to be happy and wants you do to what works best for you! Thank you Andrew and James, you guys are excellent!

I’m really disgusted in the way that Vespa o park ave treats their customers. I just purchased my scooter for 7200 and not over 150 miles. So my back light came off some how so I called and made a appointment and I was told just bring it in and it will be fixed at no cost because it’s a common problem because the back light sticks out, I was charged 35 dollars for a small repair that did not need any parts just to reattach The service guy was very nice but I feel totally turned off with Vespa penny pinching policies..not happy at all!! Beware
