Piala's Nursery & Garden Shop

I originally went here to support a local business over a chain but guess I didn't spend enough. Or, maybe they prefer to work with professional contract jobs. They have beautiful grounds and nice selection. Bought a dozen shrubs, a delivery of mulch and some patio supplies. Super happy to sell me stuff but when I stopped back to ask questions/suggestions about why a few of my shrubs weren't making it, it was like I was interrupting their dinner or something. I felt like I was intruding on private property and wasting their time. I shouldn't of wasted my time driving out there. Not impressed. I'd rather make a long drive to another nursery or go to steins. *UPDATE* They called me out of the blue after this review was posted offering to have me email them with questions I still might have about the now dead shrubs. I don't know how that will help me.

Spent thousands of dollars with this business last year including landscape design. I had a problem with whole varieties of plants not making it. They have very satisfactorily resolved this issue. Thank you Pialas for individual attention to your customers and prompt resolution. Definitely a company I will continue to do business with and recommend.

Excellent quality nursery stock. Their plants and trees are very hardy. You'll find varieties here you won't find at most other nurseries.

I have used Piala's for 25 years and have only the best if service in purchasing plants and trees. If anything was not doing well all I did was call or stop in for expert advice and caring service. Thank you and we love your spring and harvest festival.

When shopping last season for a rose tree we were told that there was nothing special that was needed for the winter....'very hearty" ! Well, not so much. Today when I called I was told that they need to be protected for the winter as they are a "grafted" plant which needs special care. Here we are with a rose tree that is dead and new growth coming from the bottom. Cutting it down and seeing what will grow. Do not believe I will shop where I can not trust their guidance and info when purchasing. :(
