Pie Town Cafe

Delicious New Mexico Pie! They have so many familiar pies such as; pecan, blueberry, chocolate and so on. But when the proprietor said, “this is New Mexico Pie”, I just had to know more. A NM Pie is an apple pie with green chilis and pine nuts. “When in Rome…”, Right? Delicious! Your choice, warmed or not, ice cream or not. If you choose the ice cream, [and it’s foolish not to], they serve the vanilla bean type. Service is extraordinary, everyone working there is friendly and welcoming.

They just opened back up 2 days ago, but the owners are friendly, baking pies, and serving up hot food. A great place to go if you want to eat something filling.

Good pie----sorry to hear it has closed. Pie Town is, literally, in the middle of nowhere and I suspect there just was not enough business to go around in this small town.

The burgers tasted good, but had only one measly wet piece of iceberg lettuce & American processed cheese-food product, onion & pink tomato. The patty melt was OK, but had the same pseudo cheese. Shasta pop. They were out of quite a few things; pulled pork, corn tortillas, Coke, potato salad. Can't tell you about the pies as they had none. OUT OF PIE. What a supreme disappointment. When we were told they were out of pie, we were referred down the street. We asked if they were serving lunch as well and were informed "No". Thst was a big, fat lie. Stopped down at the next place, Gathering Place Pies. Not only did they have MANY PIES, they were serving lunch.
