I can always find something I like. Friendly staff. Just purchased these wonderful LED candles that are perfect for my fireplace. They also make wonderful gifts.
One of the best Pier 1s in the area. Great collection and very friendly staff
Sad to hear about the closings. I was a manager for over ten years. This location was my favorite. The mix of customers was astounding. Students from Emory, Music artists, CDC staff and regulars, that would come in frequently just to visit. We had employees, working their first jobs, others returning each Christmas or summer to works, plus second jobbers. Best of luck to all of the employees and clients from overs the years.
Okay when I got there I was a little bit peeved when I found out that my mirror I ordered had a ride but I haven't gotten an email yet. However the friendliness of the staff soon had me smiling and enjoying my visit has I almost always do at Pier One. I'm sorry I didn't catch the name of the woman who helped me but she was a beautiful black woman in her maybe 60s who smile lit up the whole store and I was also helped by another woman briefly as well. Pier One it's one of those stories that whatever you bring home is going to look good in your house and there's always something new and different and gorgeous to discover. I can't wait to hang out my new things and enjoy so many other things I already have from Pier 1 on my deck and in my home.
I love Pier 1 anyway and this is a nice store. They already have Christmas items out and is a good place to purchase gifts anytime of the year. They have a good assortment of gift items for Christmas. It's a fun store to browse in anytime but this time of year it's awesome. Have fun!
Love, love, love the products but the attitudes of the employees sucked. They watched me searching for the oil for the warmers and never asked if they could help. I finally asked if they carried them in their store. They looked at me and laughed and said "yeah but not so everyone can steal them. We keep them behind the counter". I'm from California and I've never been in a pier 1 imports that put them behind the counter. I guess in Ga I'm gonna have to become a mind reader and become clairvoyant.
This location always has items here but the customer service is horrible. I stood there waiting at the register while 2 employees in the store walked around pretending not to notice. Finally a 3rd employee walked up with a customer not ready to pay. The customer told them to service me since she was not ready. The employee then starts shouting for the other two employees to come to help me but they pretend they cant hear and looking confused because she is already at the register. At this point I'm mad, but containing my anger at the situation. Finally I'm helped with attitude about why didnt I call for help when the 2 employees clearly saw me standing there. The icing on the cake for this experience, after ringing up the mosaic medallion I am asked to help open the bag so she can drop it in there as if I'm employee now... I will not be back to this location!
Awwwww! They're closing... I hate what the internet is doing to the tangible world! My mom, sister and I would often do lunch and shop pier 1. We brought my niece in on the fun. Now, they are closing! "Internet"! STOP, clicking everyone. There goes several jobs and really nice works people. We the consumer have the power, please stop guys. Just Stop, please. I will miss my local store and its workers. I am so sorry guys.
This Pier One is eventually going to close. When i visited the store it was 10% off of everything. The staff is very knowledgeable and very helpful, since Pier One stores are closing at a fast rate in the metropolitan Atlanta area, it is a great store to visit and shop.
It's big disappointment, because this place used to carry dish ware made in Italy. But now all plates are made in China. I know this is summer time, but I don't think I spend $7.99 for plastic made in china plate. I think Walmart or Target sell made in China plates lot cheaper. Least I wish It was ceramic.
