Pier 1 Imports

The holiday sale seemed to start very early and we were disappointed at the lack of holiday sale inventory.

I like Pier 1 and enjoy looking around at the interesting items in the store. I don't like the fact that they won't leave you alone to "browse." Also, when making a purchase they hound you about applying for their credit card- "you can get a big discount on today's purchase!" I have enough credit cards thank you and the first time I politely tell you NO, quit asking! I keep shopping there but have resorted to purchasing on-line and recently had some bar stools delivered to the store for pick up to avoid the $90 shipping charge if sent to my home. The on-line order confirmation email said my order would arrive at the store within 2 weeks. I called in 2 weeks and they weren't there. Today (3 weeks since order) I called and was told they arrived last week. Really? And of course, nobody called to tell me they had arrived. Overall, good store, love the products, FAIL on Customer Service.

horrible customer service. I stood at the counter for 45 minutes one time while the tall short haired blonde lady stood and talked to a short brown haired guy, they looked at me several times and made me wait 45 minutes before helping me.
