Finally got a chance to try out Mediterranean food at Pita. I ordered Special #1 and my husband ordered special #2. They are so delicious. The place is nice and clean. My future plans are to order different dish every time I stop by. They are perfect for weekend picnics. You guys should try them out. It is easy to eat. Rice, meat, and salad. Pretty straightforward, no complication. Here are some pictures.
I ordered the lamb shawarma. I thought the flavor was good, but the texture of the pita is a little rubbery and the meat was mushy. Mushy is usually not an adjective should be associated with any meat dish. However, the price is reasonable for lunch. If you want a quick bite during lunch break, this is a good place to be.
Ordered carnivore platter, falafel plate, baklava, pita and hummus. The taste was so amazing. The meat was well cooked and had lot of flavor. Loved the sauces and sides salad, hummus and other things. The food was really delicious and the quantity was good for the price. Definitely worth to try this place. I will definitely try it again too. I don't know why it shows the restaurant name as red fez in Uber eats instead of pita Cambridge lol
The food here was absolutely delicious! The server offered recommendations and was very friendly. Hummus is so good! Great place for Greek/Mediterranean food.
Nice little Mediterranean place that is good for a quick bite. Tried the chicken and lamb kabob plate with hummus and falafel on the side. Chicken was a bit on the dry side, but the lamb was perfectly juicy and tender. I also liked how they give you the option to try some of their side dishes without having to get the whole thing. Their falafel was just okay, but I really enjoyed the hummus which went really well not only with the pita bread, but also with the meat kabob.
I did order from them one lamb shawarma burrito and it's come as rice with not cooked meat with source that is to soured and regular bread sandwich doesn't have any relation to the burrito.... same falafel sandwich you can't test anything except the soured also have 2 small pieces of falafel which is doesn't have any test...... and my lunch which is the lamp kababo plate I surprised from that the rice not cooked its like they add yellow color to it only and the meat not cooked you can't even cut it and alot of garlic and vinegar ... and the problemits not the end of the day and the food test and cookedin that bad ... I just west my money's for nothing... I don't know how someone can open restaurant and say halal food ... then he get his money in that way from the people he sale something to trash it not to eat it .
Pita Cambridge has one of the best Mediterranean/Moroccan food I’ve ever had, i ordered the Lamb Cheeseburger, The Beef Bowl and a Beef Shawarma Roll up. All of those items were really fresh, juicy and delicious. I highly recommend Pita to everyone.
My favorite place to get shawarma. The food is always fresh. They are fast and high quality. The hummus is also very good, it's smooth and has a great flavor. I usually get it with some falafel balls. Highly recommended.
Delicious food, good mash ups of popular items. Fast and really nice service. But this is really a pick-up spot. There are 5 chairs at a bar. Wish we knew this ahead of time, would have planned accordingly.Food: 5/5
Easily the best mediterranean / middle eastern food you could find in Cambridge! I love the delux kabob plate kabobs of chicken, lamb and kafta. The salad which comes with the plate is so fresh and filling ... a healthy diet! Also I would suggest to go for moroccan cheese burger which is a must try! Kids would love the chicken tenders without doubt.. and, its pretty pocket friendly place .. cant ask for more.. big thumbs up!
