As an appetizer the fried mushrooms were a disappointment. Almost 10 dollars for 11 fried mushrooms is pretty bad, they did taste okay though. Now the burger, the double cheese burger was great. See pics below or Both. I will return to try the wings. I asked for my cheeseburger to be made medium and it was. Very. Delicious.
This place is not only a spot for The eccentric the one-of-a-kind the ones that want to Branch out and be able to touch face with others that possibly have the same energies the only problem is views can be very jaded and when one version or perspective of someone or a group of individuals has been skewed it's amazing how the domino effect of people will jump on the bandwagon about how they feel about somebody piece of the action was a home of mine when I came out of prison I had some of the best friends and the best family I could have had being in the time of my life that I was in Aaron Libby Jason Woody Charles especially Charles he at home to me more than most when it came to that place Mercedes Libby John all these individuals that were there were my family and I consider them friends very close friends and it's a welcoming place especially for the ones that have lost their way and don't believe that there's others out there like them Pizza D's is a refuge for those that need the comfort of a human soul and let misery love misery just for a night because even through that great things can happen all I ask for the people to be there to stay open-minded and don't take opinions and their projections of other people's view on an individual and make it affect because no one knows what the next person is going through and for someone to try to pry in and say something about it and not knowing the details of what that person is going through can make their life that much that much harder so always remember who you're speaking with know your audience keep an open mind keep an open heart and keep your mind keen on the idea of being able to do better with people and not negative it's always about giving a hand up not a hand out love the world love the bar the watering hole that allows people to come and share their love and their ideas in the future to come and love the family that the bar that has brought forth.
If you want a bucket of beer, you could have come here a couple weeks ago but they don’t do buckets any more. If you wanted good service for a dive bar you could have come here a couple weeks ago but not any more. Now, you ask for a bucket and get told they’ve “never done that here” and as far as the service, you’re more likely to be verbally assaulted by the rogue patron who is being babysat by the staff than you are to receive actual service. That being said, the beer is cold, the pizza is good. If you can tolerate everything else, this is your place!
i called in a calzone at 6:35 and they said 25 minutes. show up after 7 and they say they put in a lot of orders at once and only one person's back in the kitchen. i see multiple people appearing to hang out back there. after waiting a few minutes i ask for an update and i'm told another ten minutes. it was about 7:30 or so before i got what i ordered. staff didn't seem to care. i think they didn't start my order until i got there -- if this is the case, why allow call-ins? i really love the food itself i just wish for better customer service
Great atmosphere. Great drinks from a single bartender kicking butt by herself at a HUGE bar!! Next time I might try the pizza
I hate to leave a low rating, gone to pizza d several times. We figured we order one more pizza before it changes, and it was terrible. We ordered a large pizza with pepperoni and add onions and bell peppers to the other half and a order of doc bread. Im pretty sure the cheese they used was the fake cheese that turns into a hard mess when it cools a little. Pizza was burnt around the edge and the same terrible cheese was sprinkled on our pizza with very few toppings. The pizza tasted really bad to. We just threw the remaining pizza in the trash. $30 wasted on bad food.
Great local hangout! Wings are fire! Great people! Except for Adam, he doesn't work there, just watch out!Food: 5/5
I had never been there before and when I walked in I was a little reluctant, but the bartender Marquis was so awesome. He was so attentive and brought our drinks right out. I was wondering whether I wanted to stay there and order anything to eat BUT I'm so glad I did! I had the best pizza I never had in Little Rock in at least 3 years! Absolutely delicious. And to think I got to drink my wine eat a fabulous pizza and smoke a cigarette all while never getting up from my chair!! WOO HOO! I will definitely be back.. thank you so much Marquis!
I had a great time. The Band was great! The burger was affordable and legitimately good. The Bartender was great. It is the kind of place that takes you back to your punk rock days.
Pool tables, darts, pizza. An unapologetic working class dive bar. Bring some markers and some hand drawn slap stickers for the bathroom art.
