Pizza Heaven Bistro

Wow, what a wonderful dining experience for a place that we didn't even know existed for over 42 years and over this time they have perfected their menu. Restaurant is clean and spacious. Service is fast and our waitress is very friendly. We started with the meatballs with the incredible marinara sauce, that was the perfect consistency. And then ventured into the fried zucchini, which was delicious. Hands down the Best pizza in town. We had two different pizzas. We did the hand tossed pizza with the vegetables and meat, which was incredible and then we did the thin crust white pizza with the basil. The mozzarella and the sauce felt like it came straight from the kitchen of Italy. We finished off with the chocolate chip cookie and walnuts and ice cream, which was vegan and didn't have any eggs surprisingly. Definitely recommended and we can't wait to go back to try more incredible items on the menu.

Gluten-free pizza with vegan mozzarella and vegan Alfredo with GF penne pasta was so good! Cross contamination in fryers meant we couldn't have the wings or fries, but everything else we ordered was delicious.Food: 4/5

I recently visited this great pizza place and was pleasantly surprised by their extensive gluten free and vegan menu. The variety of vegan and gluten free options catered to my dietary preferences without compromising on flavor. I decided to incorporate more plant non soy based meals into my diet and was given the recommendation to this pizza place. O, was I so impressed. The service was awesome, and the food was delicious. The owner was in the restaurant helping and checking on the customers. This little hidden gem is small and homely. My vegan veggie pizza was so good being new to the vegan life I liked it. But let me tell you about the VEGGIE BALLS and the vegan cheese sticks. YUMMY, those veggie balls were amazing, so flavorful, and the texture resembles meat. My mom ordered a calzone, and she is a pizza snop. She loved it. This place is a must visit. I went back for the vegan spaghetti and again BOMB.

UPDATE: 05/07/2024 I just dropped by Pizza Heaven for a tasty ‘slice and salad’ while my car was getting an oil change nearby — and I still stand by my 5 STAR rating! It’s too bad they don’t offer quick oil changes with those delicious lunch specials … ‘cause that would truly be HEAVEN! CARLETA M = GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! I've eaten at Pizza Heaven Bistro several times and have never had a bad experience. The pizza is really tasty and the staff is always super friendly. If you love a cozy MOM & POP atmosphere like I do -- and you love good pizza and a cold beer - this is a perfect spot for it. And the prices are VERY reasonable. As a matter of fact, I think I'll wrap up this review and head over there for lunch right now! EDIT: I really did race over to Pizza Heaven Bistro for lunch and to take some pix to share!

First time here. Great little bistro. Cute, cozy atmosphere. Inviting patio area. Reserved a table through Google… very easy and helpful. Great staff. We had fried zucchini and “The Works” pizza. Pizza was excellent! Great crust. They have a vegan menu as well. Parking lot is small, but there are options around to park if lot is full. Enjoyed this place a lot. Will definitely be back and continue to recommend!

A taste of Italy in the middle of a booming city! My family and I just happened into this absolute joy of a restaurant. We stopped for lunch and did not have a wait. A beautiful family owned restaurant, the owner has researched the vegan lifestyle and pleasantly taken it over the top! Each menu item is offered for meat and veggies eaters alike. The Calzone is a shareable treat! Vegan mozzarella sticks = mind-blowing We absolutely will be back! Thank you for a beautiful experience

Fun local joint that has a seperate and extensive vegan menu. Pasta is standard, meatballs were fine, sauces are great. BBQ chicken pozza was solid. But let me tell you that one of the greatest desserts you will put in your mouth are the angel bites. Soft, warm, sugary and the chocolate doesn't taste cheap or waxy. One of the two best things I've eaten in Arizona!

Calzone was great. Juan, our server, was great. I'll definitely be back. Just had Chicken Spinach Alfredo and a Calzone again. Abundant amount of food, great service and love supporting local businesses. Tried the Italian Salad and Zucchini. YUMMY!!!Food: 5/5

I'm rating this based on their vegan menu. First, vegan or not, the owner takes pride in the quality of the food. I have so much respect for that. In addition the owner seems to have intentionally considered and understands how people who are vegan approach their decisions with food. The owner also takes pride in doing the best she can to use quality ingredients as best as possible. Second, the service was awesome, and I wanted to give a shout out to Lorenzo who served a big party with style and grace. Thank you! Third, the food was amazing! I cant say I've had better Italian style vegan food! I'm glad I had to walk home because I ate so much! I will stop by here every time I am in Phoenix from now on!
