This pizzeria has been around for over 50 years. It has been my favorite place to grab a slice for about 36 years and my wife's for longer, since she was in high school. When we eat at the pizzeria it's usually great. I like to go when my favorite guy is in charge of making the pizza, the other dudes are not bad either. I just feel that one particular guy achieves the perfect combination of cheese, sauce and crust. It bothers me that there is no consistency. There's not much on the menu other than pizza and rolls sausage, meatball and spinach. They usually have ran out of the rolls when I try to order them. As I mentioned before, this is our favorite pizzeria, but there are several things that I must point out. The place is small and it can get loud inside when it gets busy. There is a guy behind the counter that loves to slam down loudly the big cans of tomato sauce when he's about to open them. He does the same with the metal canisters that contain the dough when he's taking them out of the refrigerator. The tables are not wiped clean between customers, so they can be sticky and full of crumbs. Same goes for the floor, it is not swept during the day. They are pretty much the only place where you must provide your address and phone number when you order take out, every where else is automated. Their main delivery guy doesn't seem to like using the warming bags that every other pizzeria sends their pies in, even in the coldest days of winter. So by the time he walks to his car, drives to your place and walks up the stairs at best the pizza is just warm when it is delivered. Nothing much has changed in the location since I've been going there, and that's fine. I just wish they could modernize the phone ordering system and for there to be more consistency between the pizza makers.
This is a authentic New York crispy slice. You cannot go wrong with this pizza spot, was told this was the place to go and when I found out they’re open till 2am man that won my heart. I had a regular slice, pepperoni and white slice. All were great but my wife and I both loved the pepperoni slice. Will come back soon!!!!
Really delicious New York pizza, first time going there in twenty years and it was still just as amazing! Nice thin crust, but not too thin.
Pizza here will always so fresh and when you see the whole pizza just out of the oven, the cheese on the top is still melting, and smell so good, you just can't resist to make an order. $3 for a slice of traditional cheese on top is no worry option. I think it is a good way to eat it one after one, it is not necessary ordered a lot once, since the still melting cheese is so incredible, so it worth to pay again and again.
Their location alone 86th & 5th keeps them hopping. Thinner crust pizza with a crunch. Really nice. When a teenager eats four pepperoni slices on his first try it has to be good! We agree, the best pizza we've found in Bay Ridge!Food: 5/5
unbelievable pizza I’m from San Diego. I have never tasted pizza as well as this the owner and his son-in-law Dominic take great honor in making their pizza the way they make it. The Italian heritage screams out of every bite you take of their pizza it is unbelievable thank you for probably the best pizza I ever had in my life I appreciate everything from pizza wagon and the workers are great and like I said Dominic and his father-in-law are nice people that know how to run a business and make great food and take care of her clients or pizza always is consistent and that’s what makes a great pizza parlor
Hands down best pizza in Brooklyn. Best thing is to get a whole pie which is freshly made and baked. It’s just everything you would expect a pizza to be- nice crispy crust, good sauce, pepperoni and mozzarella cheese!
Always happy to know there's a pizza spot in brooklyn i can stop by late night to grab a slice. Fresh slices are way better than the reheated ones. Still good though!Food: 5/5
The place offers classic neigborhood pizzeria experience. Offers one of best regular slice in the entire Bay Ridge area. Only 2nd behind the "other pizzeria" across the street, when compare overall quality, food choices, service and atmosphere in my opinion, but at this place you can save a couple of dollar.Food: 5/5
The customer service was absolutely terrible 2 days in a row . Every single employee was rude and I had to wait 15 minutes after they informed me over the phone that my square pie was going to be ready for pickup in 20 minutes . They joked around and handed out square pizzas to other walk in customers that did not call for pickup before serving me . The pizza tasted fine except the thin crust tasted like cardboard . I’ll be visiting mancinis next time where I’m treated with dignity and respect Kid-friendliness: This place will not teach your kid how to have decent manners
